We’ve all been following your journey from Norway back to your old home. You have such a fresh, warm personality and are always approachable. I’m sure all the residents at the nursing home, whom you care for every day, love you too. To unwind and relax, you crochet beautiful things like special mosaic patterns, little figurines, or other items that bring joy to others. It’s wonderful that you exist and that you’re here with us!

Thank you, Claudia. I had a wonderful celebration and got to see friends and acquaintances again after 1–2 years. That felt so good.
Everyone enjoyed it—that’s the main thing.

Now it’s back to the daily grind.

Dear Andrea, the two large apples in my fall decor are from Lumida Casa. They’re made of thick Mercury glass. They’re suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. You insert two batteries, and then they light up. The paint applied to the inside is translucent, so they don’t shine too brightly but create a beautiful play of light. I sometimes place them in the center of the coffee table, so there’s always something to look at.

And I use them for outdoor decor, too. They’re always the focal point and glow for 5 hours on a timer. Arrange a few colorful leaves or berry branches around them, and you’ve got something lovely to look at. People out for a walk always enjoy my outdoor decorations.

I don’t just have apples—I also have pumpkins. They look even prettier, but I don’t have a picture of them on hand right now. Unfortunately, you can’t always buy them—only once a year on QVC. Look for “Lumida Casa Decorative Fruits” there.
