Hat season will soon be here again. Babies need to keep their heads and necks nice and warm. Nothing should slip, and it should also be easy to put on and take off.

This hat meets every need, because it buttons comfortably at the front. It is also very easy to knit; even beginners with basic skills have enjoyed making it so far.

This colorful raglan cardigan made from soft merino wool is just the thing for playing outside in between seasons. It has a hood and pockets. It fit my granddaughter for a very long time—from about age 2.5.

Recommended for advanced knitters.

These flamingos like it hot :-) The double-faced knitting technique makes them extra dense, protects well against the heat, and looks great from both sides. Detailed basic instructions for double-faced knitting are included.

Knitting pattern for “Flamingo Love” Pot Holders – Double-Face

With this placemat, you can knit your way straight to Paris! Detailed double-face instructions are also included here. Warning: Highly addictive! The “Berlin,” “Venice,” and “London” designs are also available in my shop, so you can knit your way (almost) around the world ;-)

Knitting Pattern for “Paris” Placemat – Double-Face

This charming blanket is knitted using only knit and purl stitches. The size shown is for a baby blanket, but by adding extra rows or stitches on both sides, you can enlarge the blanket to make a sofa blanket—and snuggle up under it with your favorite person.

Hello my dears!

I’d like to introduce you to two of my favorite shawls, Graia and Sinope!

Link: Flat Triangle Shawl Graia

This shawl was the first one where I combined so many different patterns, and I had a lot of fun with it! With the different patterns, there’s definitely no chance of getting bored. Because it’s flat, it can be crocheted nice and large and cozy—but if you prefer it smaller, you can crochet one of the many options described in the pattern!

Link: Triangle Shawl Sinope

Unlike Graia, Sinope is a shawl that’s wonderful to crochet in front of the TV, because the stitch patterns quickly stick in your memory! Maybe you’ll need to peek at the pattern now and then along the edge, but the rest works up quickly! The shawl can be crocheted in any size you like, and for the border you can decide for yourself whether you want it in one or two colors!

Have fun with them!

Yours, Claudia

If you’re planning to take part in a St. Martin’s Day parade with your child but want to avoid the stress of last-minute preparations, you could choose a lantern now and maybe even start making it right away.

This lantern is particularly well-suited for small children because, at about 20 cm, it’s very easy to handle and light to carry. The lantern is made of cardstock and translucent paper and is easy to make.

For everyone who is already looking forward to Munich’s Oktoberfest, I have a few great crochet patterns for you today that you can easily make using some leftover yarn:
 Oktoberfest Keychain
The keychain with a beer mug, pretzel, and gingerbread heart can also be used as a gift tag.

Bavarian Snack Board
And here’s a typical Bavarian snack, just like you’ll find at the Wiesn: white sausages with sweet mustard, a pretzel, and radishes.

Dirndl with Heart Pocket for Small Dolls
And so the little dolls can go to the Wiesn dressed in proper traditional style too, here is a beautiful short dirndl with a matching heart pocket.

The season for scarves will be here again soon, so you need to be prepared.
My knitting pattern for Natures Sheepy is described in detail; you will need 300 g of yarn with a length of 450 m per 100 g. Each color has its own pattern.

My knitting pattern for the Good Mood Scarf is fully written out, and the pattern is also shown in a chart. You can knit it with a gradient yarn cake or with 300 g of sock-weight yarn. Just by choosing the colors, it truly lives up to its name and is a lot of fun to knit.

Fisch-Gretchen

An absolutely cozy oversized sweater. It is crocheted sideways from arm to arm. The herringbone half double crochet stitches create a lovely dense texture, and the small cables loosen up the overall look a little. A design with plenty of variety, suitable for advanced beginners and intermediate crocheters, and easy enough to work on while watching TV.

Now in fall, it’s the perfect companion when you want to throw on something cozy.

Cozy Sweater Diva

This sweater has a big cozy, feel-good factor. Of course, it can also be made without long-hair yarn.

It is crocheted with a round yoke and different hook sizes. The sweater can be individually adjusted to any size and can be made with either a narrower neckline or as an "off shoulder" style.

Wishing you lots of fun crocheting

Spring Romance triangular shawl

A shawl is always a good idea 😊 and soon it will be cold again.

In the pattern, you’ll get two options: a symmetrical triangular shawl as well as an asymmetrical version.

The shawl is suitable for slightly more advanced beginners and, of course, just as appealing and varied for seasoned crochet fans.

I hope you have lots of fun making it.
