@Nicole,
I’m glad I could cheer you up.
Just imagine—the Loch Ness Monster has existed as a legend for centuries. Maybe there’s a grain of truth to it. Maybe there isn’t just one Loch Ness Monster, but several, or even many. Maybe there’s a whole monster city down there with a monster kindergarten for baby monsters, monster schools that teach you how to behave like a Loch Ness Monster, or even monster supermarkets with everything a monster could need.
Maybe every few years there’s a monster competition down there, where the best and brightest monsters compete against each other and choose the one monster that gets to swim to the surface and have its picture taken. That’s a great honor.
Down there, they already learn in kindergarten and school how to make sure monster photos come out blurry. That’s why no one has ever noticed that it’s a different monster every time.
Of course there’s Monster TV, too, so the monsters know how much effort people on the surface put into taking a decent monster photo, and how much time they spend searching for monsters.
It’s also possible, though, that I’ve watched too much TV as a moderator.
@
lillyschatz,
you’re right. Of course that won’t work.
