Easter Friends


Hearts are always a good idea!

These crochet hearts can be added to gifts or hung on Easter branches.

Depending on the yarn weight, you can decide whether they turn out larger or smaller.

The pattern is suitable for beginners and includes lots of pictures.



Crochet heart

An easy decoration to crochet from leftover yarn are the heartfelt little chickens. Their bodies and feet are heart-shaped, hence the name. You can hang them on your Easter branches, or use them as flower picks or gift tags.


Children will love a hand-crocheted bunny in their Easter nest. Bunny Purzel is especially cuddly because he is crocheted from plush yarn. To help you see the stitches clearly while crocheting, there are a few tricks that I share with you in the pattern. Purzel wears blue overalls with a little heart on them and carries a small basket of Easter eggs.


Who’s hiding in those Easter eggs? A full 3 Easter animals are peeking curiously out of the colorful eggs: a lamb, Easter bunny, and chick are crocheted from a thin fluffy yarn. It is then brushed out a little to create the downy surface. The description for the small doily is also included in the pattern.

Easter is a celebration of joy—and we’d love to feel that joy in our handmade projects even before Easter. I hope you have lots of fun with my Easter crafts.

Easter Basket

You always need little baskets. First of all, of course, for Easter, to hide sweets in them or to collect them with the basket. Halfway through, you’ll already have small colorful baskets, too. They are also very decorative. The basket has a sturdy base and a shape-retaining handle.





Easter Ornaments and Flower Picks

If you want to make something pretty for Easter with your children or grandchildren, maybe ornaments for a blooming Easter branch or cute picks for a flowerpot or the garden. Last year, I made these creations here with my grandson. This year we’re making more motifs. It’s great fun for young and old alike.




Pom-pom Bunny

You can make such cute little bunnies yourself from pom-poms. A lovely decoration that brings joy.

You’ll want to add a little Easter spirit to your kitchen, too - knitted dishcloths are just the thing. 

For this pattern, all you need to know are knit and purl stitches. The pattern also includes a chart in addition to the written instructions.

Depending on your preferences and needs, this little Easter basket can either be a pretty decoration for your Easter breakfast or serve as a practical container that you can use for a nice Easter gift.



The basket is made of photo cardstock, measures approximately 11.5 x 11.5 x 6 cm, and has room for two Easter eggs. With a little crafting experience, it’s easy to recreate.
