Paper yarn is a fairly sturdy yarn made from paper. It works well for small baskets, coasters, or hats. If you want to try crocheting with paper yarn, these little decorative baskets are perfect for it! They are quick to crochet and wonderfully suited for little Easter surprises. They also look great on an Easter branch.

This makeup bag is crocheted using the African Flowers technique. These are colorful hexagons that are crocheted individually and then sewn or crocheted together at the end. The pouch measures about 20 x 14 cm and closes at the top with a zipper.
It’s an ideal project for on the go and is also perfect for using up leftover yarn.

There’s a lively, colorful bustle going on in our chicken coop! 
The hens are busily laying lots of eggs, which the Easter Bunny gets to collect so he can dye them for Easter just as colorfully as the feathers of the proud rooster and his ladies.

In no time at all, you can crochet lots of little hens and roosters in various sizes, from mini to XL, in the Waldorf style.

The “Nana” loop scarf consists of a mix of patterns that keeps things from getting boring. The pattern repeats can be expanded as desired, depending on how you like it. Of course, the loop scarf is also an eye-catcher in any other color, as can be seen in the test results in the gallery. The pattern has a detailed written section, crochet charts, and for guidance there are a few test results with the key details at the end of the pattern to help you make your loop scarf.

 This is my patchwork teddy, Robyn . This cuddly teddy has two ears of different sizes and comes with a cuddle blanket—everyone can choose one of four variations. Three of them are shown in the photo, and one is described only in the pattern. This fourth version is meant for using up all your leftover yarn, so the blanket turns out really colorful and unique. And because Robyn loves flowers so much, he or she has pinned one to their chest.

Of course, you can crochet Quaxi in the colors of your choice. Why for sewing haters? I keep reading on FB: if only it weren’t for that annoying sewing on. Well, with Quaxi there is nothing to sew; the arms and legs are crocheted on as you go, and the bath tub is crocheted almost in one piece. For the backrest, you can choose between sewing or gluing. In the 12-page pattern, everything is explained to you step by step with lots of pictures for the individual work steps.

These funny monsters are my contribution to the spring 2023 color campaign. They are crocheted from thick felting wool and then
felted in the washing machine – this gives them enough stability. The monsters are not at all
afraid of work: One of them works for me as a doorstop, a second one collects
wine bottle corks for recycling, and a third one “eats” bills
(after I’ve paid them, of course ;-))
Kids love the monsters too. They serve as secret hiding places, worry eaters, targets for tossing games, and much more!

I’d like to share my new pattern here. This round pillow is crocheted using African Flowers.
To celebrate Crazypatterns’ 10th anniversary, the pillow is crocheted in Crazypatterns logo colors.
First, you’ll crochet the individual flower elements. In the next step, you’ll join the elements together.
Even if you’ve never worked with African Flowers before, this project is a great fit for you.
