Dear users, dear authors,
there is plenty of space in this thread for beginner-friendly / beginner-suitable patterns that can also be made with leftovers / leftover yarn, if applicable. Have fun with them.

@Authors,
2-3 patterns per author are enough. All patterns presented here must not have been advertised in the forum in the past 3 weeks, must have at least 10 sales and a conversion rate of at least 3% for both conversion rate values on the product page.

Everyone once started with a small crochet or knitting project. With every piece, you learn something new. And before you know it, you get better and better. To make your first projects a success, you need beginner-friendly patterns where everything is well explained and shown. Here are a few examples from me.

I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

Warm regards from Ina

Insoles made from leftover felted wool

We knit knit and purl stitches. The washing machine takes care of the felting. A template for cutting out the right size is included. You can make warm soles for boots and clogs for yourselves and the whole family from leftover yarn.

Rug "Spirella"

It is crocheted with 3 strands of an inexpensive acrylic yarn. The pattern is very clear and you’ll finish quickly. The small round rug is 75 cm in diameter. The back is rubberized.

For beginners, I find smaller projects with a big effect especially motivating. The following washcloths / dishcloths are therefore very well suited for knitting beginners, as they work up quickly and don’t look like beginner pieces at all. All the motifs shown require only knit and purl stitches. The patterns guide you through the process row by row, making them especially easy to knit.

You can find many more motifs in my shop. Have fun browsing and trying them out!

Knitting pattern: washcloth / dishcloth “Elo Elephant” — very easy

Knitting pattern: washcloth / dishcloth “Flamingo Love” — very easy

Knitting pattern: washcloth / dishcloth zodiac sign “Aquarius” — very easy (all other zodiac signs are also available in my shop, as well as a value SET with all 12 zodiac signs)

Does your doll (43–50 cm) need a diaper? Nothing could be easier. Just a few scraps of leftover yarn and a crochet hook, and you’re ready to go.

The diaper fastens with Velcro, which is perfect for toddlers.

Click here for the crochet pattern.

While knitting these washcloths / dishcloths, you’ll get to learn six different patterns along the way, which you can also use for other projects.

The patterns consist only of knit and purl stitches and are very easy to knit.

This beautiful gift bag is perfect for many occasions and can be made using photo cardstock in any color—just use what you already have at home. For the flowers, you can simply use scraps of photo cardstock in matching colors.

The gift bag measures approximately 17 x 26 x 8 cm. It’s very quick and easy to make. Since the large cutouts for the handles can also be cut out with scissors, the bag is even suitable for crafting with children.

Lucky charms are always useful, especially at the start of a new year! Here I’m sharing a few crochet patterns for lucky charms that are particularly well suited to beginners, because they are quick and easy and can be made from leftover yarn. They make wonderful little gifts or small tokens to bring along at the start of the year.

The ladybug egg cozies are not only pretty to look at, but also extremely useful. They keep boiled eggs warm at the breakfast table and make for a cheerful start to the day.

More egg cozies; this time lucky pigs.  Each one wears a four-leaf clover on its head, and the little male pig also has a top hat. Aren’t they cute?

This lucky clover is not only decorative, but useful too. It is crocheted from sponge yarn (e.g. Creative Bubble) and serves as a dish sponge or shower sponge.   You can easily keep it hygienically clean, because you can put it in the washing machine without any problems.
