Yes, doll clothes are a great way to use up leftover yarn. I’d like to contribute a few more ideas that fit the cold season:
On cold winter days, the little dolls are snugly bundled up in
overalls and quilted jackets warmly bundled up, both girls and boys. The pattern for the headband is also included. All pieces are crocheted using single crochet stitches.
Crocheted with a fine plush yarn, these
jackets and hats look as if they’re made of fur. The pattern for the gradient loop scarf is also included. The little dolls certainly won’t get cold!
And when the lakes are frozen over, the little dolls naturally want to go ice skating, too. In the short
ice-skating outfit with matching earmuffs, they’re dressed just right for it. The neckline, sleeves and skirt hem are crocheted with a fur trim (made from sponge yarn). It sparkles and makes the outfit a little glamorous. By the way: the pattern also explains how to make the ice skates yourself using hot glue.
