Handcrafts give us relaxation. It has been proven that getting absorbed in a handmade project is just as relaxing as yoga. The repetitive movements when crocheting or knitting put us almost into a trance. And that’s how we relax. For that to work, we always need a lovely project that comes easily to us and where we can already look forward to the result while crocheting. Here are two suggestions from me:

Colorful Craft Bucket
You can crochet it in different sizes. Inside there is a standard plastic bucket that we simply cover. All around it are lots of compartments for crochet hooks & co. The current craft project goes into the bucket. That way you always have everything together and can even move around with it.





Doll Clothing Series "Swing"
Maybe you have daughters or granddaughters? They’re always happy to get new doll clothes for their dolls. Small leftover bits of yarn are enough. You can conjure up dresses, hats, and bags from them. It’s really fun, and while crocheting you almost become a child again yourself. After all, you can then play together with the doll’s mom. It also makes a lovely gift for St. Nicholas Day or Christmas.





Slouchy Hat with Scarf or Loop Scarf
Since it really has become fall now, we urgently need a hat and scarf or loop scarf. If you still need something like that, this set is recommended. It is knitted from soft baby alpaca wool. It keeps you warm and is breathable. Young girls and women especially like the modern slouchy shape. You can’t go wrong with it. And for the neck, you can choose whether you prefer the scarf or the loop scarf with it.

To help you relax, I’ve created a pattern for you with a repeat pattern over one row. 



The headband can be customized to fit any size. You should be familiar with single crochet, chain stitches, half double crochet, and double crochet. I’m offering a variety of yarns for you to choose from.

Everyone relaxes in their own personal way. For me, it works quite well when I can immerse myself in a beautiful motif, because then there’s no room for brooding on the side ;-) These two cats in love make it especially easy to relax while knitting. Maybe you’ll even have a purring four-legged friend on your lap while you knit... The cloth can be used as a washcloth or dishcloth, depending on the yarn. You only need knit and purl stitches, so even beginners can knit the cloth in a completely relaxed way.
