Modern Slouchy Hat with Scarf/Loop Scarf Pattern

There are endless hat patterns on the internet, many resembling one another. But most were too thick for me. When one is, in the winter, on public transportation or in a department store, it's difficult to have a thick heavy hat yon our head or in your pocket. Likewise with the scarf. Only when it is very cold is thick, warm winter gear really necessary. Therefore, I've come up with this lightweight model which fills this gap.

The set consists of a casual and modern slouchy hat and a matching scarf, which can be made as a loop scarf. It, too, is light and soft. My friends and their daughters always want this set as a birthday present because they find the set so neat. And that's why I thought you, perhaps you would also like it, not just to knit for yourself, but also for your friends, daughter, niece ...

The high-quality, fine yarn of silky soft baby alpaca has hardly any weight (hat = 115 g (0,25pounds)) and is not as rough on the head; it can also be stowed away in your handbag. The baby alpaca, nevertheless, keeps you nice and warm.

Now a few details that you might find interesting:

• The hat is such a light and comfortable material that you will barely even notice it is on your head. Therefore, it can also be neatly stowed away in your handbag.

• Very fashionable with its long shape, and it also fits underneath curly hair.

• One size fits all, with the stretchy cuff

• Two wearing options: cuff unfolded or folded once

• The scarf is knit longways. If you sew together the two short ends of the scarf you create a loop.

• The length and width of the scarf or loops can be determined by you.
