Gelting Hat is a double layer beanie with slouchy fit. You can wear it from both sides, it is reversible. The hat is really
warm and cozy, perfect for a walk by the sea.
The lace pattern gives the hat an airy and sporty look despite the two layers. The contrasting color of the inner
hat shows nicely through the eyelets of the lace pattern.

• Child 1: 17 inch / 43 cm
• Child 2: 17.75 inches / 45 cm
• Child 3: 19,25 inches / 49 cm
• XS: 20.5 inches / 52 cm
• S/M: 21/22 inches / 54/56 cm
• L/XL: 22 / 23.5 inches / 58/60 cm

Yarn:
Original yarn: Wollmeise DK [100% Wool (Merino), 234 yards / 214 m per 100 g]

Yarn Substitution:
Alternatively, any (merino) yarn with a similar yardage (DK weight) or gauge can be used.

Gauge:
22 sts and 34 rounds = 4'' [10 cm] in stockinette stitch

Yardage:
You need 2 colors.
ca. 80 (85, 90, 95, 100, 105) g or 190 (200, 210, 225, 235, 250) yd yarn of each color

Additional Materials:
• circular needle or DPNs in US size 4 (3,5 mm) or in size required to achieve gauge
• waste yarn for the provisional cast on
• 5 stitch markers
• tapestry needle
