This set will keep you warm and cozy even in the depths of winter. The Gelting set contains two knitting patterns: Hat and loop.

Gelting Hat is a double layer beanie with slouchy fit. You can wear it from both sides, it is reversible. The hat is really warm and cozy, perfect for a walk by the sea.
The lace pattern gives the hat an airy and sporty look despite the two layers. The contrasting color of the inner
hat shows nicely through the eyelets of the lace pattern.

Gelting Cowl is a double-layer cowl which fits rather tightly around the neck. When loose fitting is preferred, simply choose a larger size than usual.
The cowl can be worn from both sides i.e. it is reversible, and it is really warm and cozy… perfect for a seaside
promenade stroll.
The contrasting color of the inner side shows nicely through the openwork pattern.

Original yarn: Wollmeise DK [100% Wool (Merino), 234 yards / 214 m per 100 g]

Yarn Substitution:
Alternatively, any (merino) yarn with a similar yardage (DK weight) or gauge can be used.

Gauge:
22 stitches and 34 rounds = 4'' / 10 cm in stockinette stitch

Yardage Hat:
You need 2 colors.
ca. 80 (85, 90, 95, 100, 105) g or 190 (200, 210, 225, 235, 250) yd yarn of each color

Yardage Cowl:
You need 2 colors
ca. 210 yd / 90 g yarn of each color
