Knitting for Christmas

For Christmas, slightly more elaborate gifts are very welcome too. It should be clear that they were made with a lot of time and care. That’s why they are especially appreciated, admired, and worn with pride. After all, you can’t buy them in any store; you have to receive them as a gift.

How about a beautiful, warm, cozy cardigan? I designed this one according to my preferences: it has a large, elongating shawl collar, a belt with belt loops, large pockets, and it covers the bottom. You can quickly slip into it and feel comfortable. I don’t like buttons or zippers because I want to be able to take it off quickly too. So it’s perfect for me.

It is knitted as a top-down raglan in one piece. There are no seams. The play of colors comes directly from the beautiful yarn.

And here is another gift suggestion for the younger generation: a pair of fingerless mitts. Your hands stay warm, but your fingers are still free to use your phone ;-) The mitts have a decorative cable on top. The inside is knitted in stockinette stitch. The thumb gussets ensure a perfect fit.

This shawl, which can be used as a washcloth or dishcloth, makes a wonderful Christmas gift. Perhaps you could pair it with a nice cream, a luxurious bar of soap, or a gift certificate for a spa day...?

If you’d like to knit something pretty for little doll mommies, I recommend my winter cape. It’s uncomplicated to knit and really makes an impression. It goes with all doll dresses, and you can use it to wonderfully act out fairy tales. Every princess surely wore a cape like this when she arrived at the ball in her carriage.
