August is starting off well and very peacefully for me—with a turtle family :-) They come in handy as a washcloth / dishcloth or as a potholder, depending on which yarn you use. Knitting them is very easy with knit and purl stitches. In the pattern, every row is written out stitch by stitch, and of course a knitting chart with the counted pattern is also included.

Perfect not only for cat lovers, but for anyone who wants to get cozy on the sofa with a beautiful pillow. 
This cat pillow is truly colorful and cheerful. 
Plus, it’s a wonderful way to use up a lot of leftover yarn!

I’ve created a new doll dress that I really enjoyed making. This wide, flowing dress, with its summery, airy feel, is crocheted in one piece from top to bottom. It pairs wonderfully with a wide-brimmed summer hat. I have to admit, making these hats is a bit addictive—you don’t need much yarn, and you can easily make several hats to choose from for each dress. Feel free to check out my examples.

I’m absolutely thrilled with the dish sponges from Creative Bubble and have built up quite a collection of them. My latest creation: this cute fish, which also works great as a bath sponge and exfoliating sponge.
Why not crochet one yourself? You’ll only need a tiny bit of yarn!

Starting today, there’s a new chocolate box available in my store. A similarly designed but much larger version has been available there for a long time, and since I still like the shape itself, I decided to create a smaller alternative. And here it is!



The box holds 11 chocolates measuring 3–3.5 cm. It’s made from cardstock and measures approximately 12 x 11 cm. The template for the decorative paper can be downloaded along with the pattern.

July ended with the Ladybug dishcloth and
August begins with the Long-Eared Owl dishcloth.

2 pretty, sustainable accessories for the kitchen or bathroom made from cotton yarn.
You can also use both cloths as a cuddle cloth or pacifier cloth.
In that case, I recommend knitting with soft baby cotton yarn.

Crochet pattern for colorful pumpkins

Brand new in the shop Shawl "Sunset".
A simple, TV-friendly pattern that works up quickly and is definitely suitable for beginners. It has 4 sides, so it can be worn not only as a shawl but also perfectly as a stole. 

It can be made in any size, yarn weight, and needle size , but I recommend at least 1400 m of yardage.

The material required depends on the hook/yarn weight and the finished size.

• Approx. 1400 m of 4-ply gradient modal yarn from Sandras Bobbelchen was used here.
  In this example, the shawl has a wingspan of 1.70 m and a depth of 0.65 m.
• Crochet hook to match the yarn, here size 3.5 mm
• 3 stitch markers

And here are 2 more shapes of the "Sunset".

One as a flat triangular shawl, and the pattern for the asymmetrical version is also included. 
Here, too, the hook size, yarn weight, and final size of the shawl can be freely chosen, but I recommend at least 1000 m of yarn length.

This pattern is also absolutely suitable for beginners, and not many stitches are needed.

Freshly born, this fawn is still a little shy, but it warms up very quickly and is then happily ready for use in the kitchen or bathroom.

The cloth can be used as a washcloth or dishcloth. Only knit and purl stitches are needed, and every row is written out in full, so even beginners can easily knit it.

After two knitting versions, this adorable pair of cats is now also available as a crochet version. You can use this cloth as a dishcloth or washcloth, or, with thicker cotton yarn, it will of course make great potholders. The cloth is crocheted using the tapestry technique, with the color not currently needed crocheted in. This makes the back look nice, too. Detailed instructions for tapestry crochet are, of course, included.

Since insects and even leaves keep fluttering into our drinking glasses, I came up with the idea of crocheting these pretty, colorful glass covers from leftover yarn. They’ve become a popular gift that brings a lot of joy. We give them to our guests as a present.
