Leftover Weekend and weekend project...... here's what I can offer you:

Pennants with letters - it's like an addiction. I keep making more and more letters, and my leftover yarn is shrinking. In the pattern, I give you tips on tapestry crochet, and you can quickly crochet all the letters from A-Z.

These little baby shoes are quick to knit from leftovers. They are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, and the pattern is created with slipped stitches.

Crochet pattern for a triangular shawl - a simple pattern made of double crochet and chain stitches, and the pattern repeat only spans one row. The ideal project to work on when you don't want to concentrate too hard on your crafting.

A wonderful, brand-new pattern that’s ideal for leftover cotton yarn is this “Summer Drinks” pattern—you can use it to knit six different coasters. The coasters can also be repurposed as “lids” for glasses to keep wasps and other insects away. Among the motifs, there’s sure to be just the right one for every family member or guest :-) The coasters require only knit and purl stitches. Every row is written out stitch by stitch, making this a really great project for beginners with basic skills. But they’re also fun for advanced knitters to make...

This sweet preemie/baby hat is also knitted using only knit and purl stitches. You can tell right away that it comes from the heart. For summer babies, a lightweight cotton yarn or a cotton-bamboo blend is ideal; for fall/winter babies, the hat can of course also be knitted in merino wool. The pattern explains in detail how you can knit the hat in all sizes, from preemie (approx. 28th week of pregnancy) to teens.

Self-knitted washcloths or dishcloths are also ideal for leftover cotton yarn. Depending on the yarn, you only need about 30–40 g. In my shop, you’ll find a huge selection of different motifs. As a representative example, I’d like to introduce you to the newest motif here—a little turtle family. Aren’t they just adorable?

The Fargerik triangular shawl works well with leftover yarn; the individual color sections are each knitted with 20g, but the pattern is worked continuously, so it doesn’t matter when you change colors.
At the beginning and end, you’ll knit with 100g of a main color in sock-weight yarn.

The “Simply Loop” lives up to its name—it really is very simple.
You’ll only need 2 skeins of 50g yarn with a yardage of 160m per 50g.

Chinese Double is also a great weekend project, and this cowl can also be worn as a hat.
50g of yarn with a yardage of approx. 150m is sufficient.

What are we crocheting this weekend? How about a few sea creatures? You can use them to create a beautiful maritime decoration:

First of all, there is

Octopus Oskar
He is very curious and always wants to explore everything unknown with his tentacles. So it can happen that he gets caught in a fishing net. How lucky that he has
Mermaid Marina
as a friend. She always manages to free curious Oskar from his predicament.
And then there is also
Seahorse Hippy,
who accompanies the two friends on all their adventures.

You can crochet all three friends with leftover yarn and create your own magical underwater world.

A great project that you can also knit from leftover yarn is this shawl featuring a peace dove. Whether you use it as a dishcloth, washcloth, or pot holder—it’s a real eye-catcher and probably won’t stay with you for long. It’s very easy to knit using knit stitches and purl stitches.

You can knit this cute little dress for dolls of various sizes—from 35 to 46 cm. It’s knitted in one piece from the bottom up and is easy for toddlers to put on and take off.

To go with it, you can knit this set for 35–40 cm dolls—a raglan sweater, leggings, and a headband. It’s easy to make and looks absolutely adorable when worn.

As beginner-friendly weekend projects, I’d like to show you my newly created dishcloths. 2 with animal motifs and 3 with different diamond patterns. For all cloths, only knit and purl stitches are used.
When the stitches are arranged in the right order, they create the patterns/motifs.
The stitch sequence is described stitch by stitch for each row in the pattern
.
That way, even beginners can complete a pretty project over the weekend.

If you prefer something more neutral, there is a set of 3 with diamond patterns.
