Thank you so much for all your good wishes, kind words, and lovely floral gifts! I really had a perfect birthday: After the church service, we enjoyed Eritrean food in the church, prepared by a few refugee women. Eating with our hands was a bit unusual for us, but it tasted very good. In the afternoon, we went on an hour-long cruise on Lake Lucerne, and afterward we were invited to a Christmas concert (which had been postponed and turned into a summer concert): A vocal ensemble made up of many young people sang folk-style pieces by contemporary composers.
