Good morning, everyone!
Yesterday, the mail carrier brought my yarn package! I had actually planned to open it in the afternoon when my husband was out fishing. But there it was, sitting on the bench on my garden patio. I was just making lunch, so I quickly peeled the potatoes and put them on to boil. And then I just couldn’t wait until the afternoon—my curiosity was too strong.
So I opened the package right away. First, I found a few very sweet lines from Sabine, along with a really cute keychain shaped like a friendly-looking flower. It’s crocheted so finely, and the embroidered face turned out great, too. Thank you so much for that!
Next came the yarns. I spread them all out on the big table and sorted them. In the photo, on the left, you can see the yarns that just wanted to go on a little round trip and have now returned to me.
In the middle are my new yarns, the ones I picked out myself. I especially like the two thick skeins of gradient yarn (Mixed Fine). It’s relatively thin, and I’m sure I’ll come up with something to do with it.
And on the far right of the picture are the yarns I would have sent on.
The ones I passed on aren’t bad—it’s just that I’ve realized I don’t really like the sand, beige, and yellow colors that much. And metallic and sponge yarns aren’t really my thing either.

Well, girls, that’s it for this time. I’d like to thank everyone for participating, sharing the excitement, and letting me share this with you. I hope you all have lots of fun with the treasures you picked out.
Enjoy your Sunday and do something fun! It’s raining here today—so I don’t have to do any gardening and can devote myself to my yarn after breakfast. And a lovely new fabric is waiting for me, too...
Warm regards from Ina
