Dear users, dear designers,
if you need some new additions for your private zoo, then this is the right thread for you. Our designers will present great animal models here, whose patterns you can download right away and make yourself. Have fun with it. 

@Designers,
only patterns with at least 25 sales and a CR of at least 3% can be featured here. Don’t forget links, images, info, etc. 

Animal designs are something wonderful, not just for children, but of course for adults too. Here I’m presenting a few motifs that, depending on the yarn used, can be used as a cuddle cloth, washcloth, dishcloth, or even as a potholder. With these, you can knit yourself half a zoo :-)

The simple patterns are suitable even for beginners with basic knowledge (knitting knit and purl stitches). I recommend the double-face patterns for advanced knitters who would like to learn this knitting technique or already know how to do it.

Today I’m introducing three animals from my shop who think they’re the most attractive.


 Percy the peacock wants to be the most beautiful animal in your zoo. He struts proudly by, showing off his magnificent plumage. Percy is crocheted with dark blue cotton yarn. His tail consists of colorful circles, with the final round crocheted using eyelash yarn. This makes it look especially “feathery.”


Poldi the mole is also proud of his elegant appearance. His velvety-soft fur really stands out when you use chenille yarn for crocheting. With thin chenille yarn, Poldi will be about 13 cm tall; with thick yarn, he’ll naturally be larger. 


And here’s another animal that thinks it’s extraordinary: Hippy the seahorse sparkles in many colorful rainbow hues. Here, sock yarn with a color gradient and a glitter thread running through it was used for crocheting.

Bunnies definitely belong in your zoo! This one is great to cuddle with!

This dinosaur is the perfect companion for little explorers. It’s made without sewing, which means no small parts can come loose. 

For Dino Pauli , you’ll crochet a front and a back piece, which are then joined together with a round of single crochet stitches. 



For all bunny lovers, this dishcloth is a great gift. All you need is some leftover cotton yarn, and you’re ready to go. It is knitted using knit and purl stitches.
