Dear users, dear authors,
it’s the weekend, and here in this thread you’re sure to find a new weekend project, a lovely bestseller, or even a last-minute stash-busting project for Easter. Have fun relaxing.

@Authors,
2-3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget links, images, info, etc.

How about ornaments for your Easter branches or decorative flower stakes for the garden or a flowerpot? I made these with my grandchildren. It's a lot of fun, and you end up with lovely decorations that you can display indoors or outdoors.

I hope you enjoy making them.
Warm regards from Ina

Or how about a round little basket? You can crochet it in any size: either a small one for an Easter basket or a larger one for your yarn.

Kind regards, Ina

And my 3rd tip would be a 2-piece doll dress. If you have children or grandchildren, you could crochet some and put them in their Easter baskets. All doll mommies are sure to love them, and you would have put your leftover yarn to good use.

I wish you lots of fun crocheting and a lovely weekend.
Best regards from Ina

The weather next weekend is just perfect for a cozy knitting marathon on the sofa :-) Maybe with a nice cup of tea or coffee... Perhaps you’d like to learn a new knitting technique while you’re at it? The double-face knitting technique seems a bit difficult at first because you have to hold and tension two strands at the same time. But once it clicks, it’s quite simple: you only knit knit and purl stitches and can use them to create great motifs. The knitting technique is explained in detail in the patterns.

Dishcloths or washcloths are great to knit from leftovers—and they also make lovely gifts. My children's family was very happy with them.

With this pattern, you get 6 different designs to choose from, so everyone can easily recognize their own washcloth.

They are all very easy to knit, and each one weighs only approx. 30 g.

Doll clothes are a great stash-busting project. How about a sweet little jacket plus hat like this for a small baby doll (approx. 35-40 cm)? The doll mommy is sure to be delighted. The jacket is knitted top-down in one piece with raglan shaping and is easy to make.

This doll blanket with a heart can be knitted from two skeins of yarn. It fits perfectly in a doll stroller and makes a particularly lovely gift for Easter or other occasions.

Easy to knit, even for beginners with basic skills.

My weekend recommendations for you:

The little birds can be crocheted quickly and easily from colorful leftover yarn and used in many ways for decoration. For example, as decorative hangers on branches in a vase or as flower picks.
Difficulty level: easy, also suitable for beginners with a little practice

With the Cherry Blossoms and Easter Eggs crochet decorations, you can bring the magical sight of delicate cherry blossoms into your home and preserve it for good.
The crochet decorations are very easy to make, even for beginners with a little practice.

For the weekend, you can crochet great shoes for a baby

Inline skates

Or how about these shoes?

Baby shoes

Of course I have another pair of shoes

Baby shoes No. 2

So now you have a choice: 1, 2, or 3. Which shoes could it be?  Of course, you can choose other colors.

If you need information about yarn, crochet hook, etc., just click on the caption.  Hopefully you'll find everything there.

Have a lovely weekend

Hand-crocheted Easter baskets are much more sustainable than store-bought ones because they can be reused every year. These little baskets are crocheted from fluffy yarn (don’t worry, you can still see the stitches with this material!), reinforced with felt, and lined with cotton fabric. A little crocheted Easter bunny sits inside, too.
You can download the crochet pattern for the Easter basket here!

The chick and the bunny can be crocheted from just a few leftover yarn scraps and used in many ways as decorations. They look really cute in an Easter basket or make a personal table decoration. You can hang them from a flowering branch inside glass eggs.
Click here for the crochet pattern for the little Easter decorations.

And if it doesn’t necessarily have to be something Easter-themed, maybe you’d like to crochet the little cherry blossom girl from your leftover yarn? She is about 15 cm tall, and the blossom branch measures about 20 cm. Her arms and legs can be bent and placed in different positions.

It’s going to be really cold again this weekend. How about a new hat ?
This pattern uses knit and purl stitches and can be knitted to fit head circumferences from 33 cm to 55 cm.

Or maybe you’d prefer a hat for the spring days that are just around the corner? This hat with its fun pointed tips can be knitted in 3 sizes (0–24 months)

Or are you still looking for a little something for the Easter basket? Then maybe this little bunny is the right crochet project for you?

Here’s a cute little Easter basket for you: Filled with colorful eggs, it can be used as a general Easter decoration, as a table decoration for Easter breakfast, or even as a nice little gift to bring along to Easter gatherings.

The basket is made from photo cardstock, has room for two Easter eggs, measures approximately 11.5 x 11.5 x 6 cm, and is easy to make.
