It’s slowly time to start thinking about Easter decorations if they’re going to be finished on time. Today I have a few scrap-yarn patterns for you again, so you don’t have to buy fresh yarn especially for them.

A little bunny in an Easter nest greets your visitors right at the apartment door. The small door wreath has a diameter of only 12 cm, making it wonderfully suitable as a window decoration too.You can use any crochet yarn you like here. I used cotton yarn and a leftover bit of scrubby yarn.

Speaking of scrubby yarn: if you still have half a ball in yellow left over, you can crochet this cute dish sponge “Chick” from it. That brings a little Easter cheer into the kitchen too.The sponge is super practical because it can be washed at 60° and reused again and again.

The cutlery holder “Easter Egg”  is a simple but effective decoration for a festively set Easter table. You can also fill it with a few sweets and surprise your guests with it. 20 g of cotton yarn in the main color and one tiny leftover bit in each of 2 other colors are enough.

A beautiful bouquet of tulips is just the right mood booster on a gloomy day—especially when it’s packaged so originally, doesn’t wilt, and brings you lasting joy.

With the tulips-in-an-umbrella crochet decor, you can decorate doors, walls, tables, shelves, and dressers.

Difficulty level: easy to intermediate for advanced crocheters, difficult to very difficult for beginners

The heart decoration hangers in two versions are very easy and quick to crochet from leftover yarn, even for beginners with a little practice. You can decorate them to suit your personal taste with flowers made from beads, crocheted flowers made from leftover yarn, or crochet thread scraps.

You can use the heart decoration hangers in many ways to decorate your home. The hearts are also perfect as a heartfelt thank-you or a small gift for someone dear to you.

These dishcloths/washcloths are knitted from scraps of recycled cotton. The pattern includes 6 different designs, so everyone can easily identify their own washcloth. Also well-suited for beginners.

This popular gift for toddlers with a play shop can also be crocheted using recycled yarn. The bag can then be filled right away with lemons and carrots. All the pieces are very easy to crochet.

This mini sleeping bag for small cuddly toys—teddy bears, dolls, and others—can also be knitted quickly and easily from various scraps. Every toddler will love it and will be much more eager to go to bed. Here you’ll find a pattern for 2 different models.

Yes, Easter is approaching :-) So I also have some suggestions for Easter decorations and small gifts that fit nicely in an Easter basket. All the patterns shown are suitable for beginners, since the motifs are knitted using only knit and purl stitches, and all rows are written out stitch by stitch. Of course, they are also lovely projects for advanced knitters that can be knitted up quickly.

If you have colorful leftover cotton yarn, I can show you a few designs where you’ll need less than one ball of yarn

For these dishcloths / cleaning cloths, you won’t need even 30 grams. Only knit and purl stitches are used, and the pattern includes written instructions; I’ve also included a chart.
For Easter and animal lovers, the bunny motif is a good choice; for flower lovers, I designed the tulip

Do you have plenty of time and lots of colorful leftover cotton yarn? Then this tablecloth might be a project for you. Individual flowers are crocheted and attached to the existing ones in the final round.
