Even beginners with a little practice can crochet wonderful things from leftover yarn.

How about, for example, the funny chickens on a perch, which decorate doors and walls as hanging decor and can be used individually as edge sitters and gift decorations:

The little birds look magical as decorative hangers and flower picks, and bring cheerful color into your home:

Or how about a pretty welcoming committee for spring made from your leftover yarn?
The daisies also make a lovely gift or little hostess gift:

Tiny amounts of leftover yarn can be crocheted into appliqués. Now, at the turn of the year, these lucky charms are ideal. They are super quick to crochet and can be given as a small token: as a fridge magnet, gift tag, or all together on a greeting card or a door wreath.

Or would you like to crochet a pretty Carnival decoration from your leftovers? Thecolorful jester’s cap can be used in many ways: as a bottle stopper, table decoration, doll’s hat, or on a small door wreath.

You wouldn’t immediately realize that the animal numbers for a child’s birthday  are numbers. You can use them as fun cake toppers. Or you can glue them onto the invitation cards. They are also very decorative as gift tags (maybe you can even find wrapping paper that matches the animal?)

A great and easy project for leftovers is washcloths or dishcloths. These look great, and each of the 6 cloths has a different knit-purl pattern.

A loop scarf can also be wonderfully knitted from leftover yarn. It even looks great in two colors.

This collar+scarf is also a great leftover-yarn project. It can be worn in different ways—as either a collar or a scarf. That way you always have a nice, warm neck.

With large projects, you often end up with a few leftover balls of yarn. You can put them to wonderful use for a cowl with a motif. How about a little dinosaur family? Or a sweet little bear cub snuggled up close to his mom, enjoying a lovely winter day? Both are fun to crochet, and maybe you know a little dinosaur or teddy bear fan :-)

The ultimate scrap yarn pattern that looks great in every color:

Häkelherzchen

You’ll receive the crochet pattern for hearts in 3 sizes.

Can you crochet chain stitches, single crochet, increase, and decrease? Then you can get started right away.

As table decorations, pendants, or floral decorations on a small wooden skewer, little hearts are always a good idea.

Hier gehts zur Anleitung.

Have fun crocheting.

Fargerik is an easy triangular shawl where only 2 patterns are knitted, which are explained in detail and are absolutely suitable for beginners.
The colorful stripes can be knitted very well with leftover yarn; the pattern is simply knitted straight through.
