This weekend I’d like to show you a few pieces that you can use wonderfully as underwater decorations:

Octopus Oskar
Oskar was crocheted from the leftover yarn of a four-strand bobbel. But he can also be made nicely from regular cotton yarn. Oskar’s body is about 12 cm long. If you measure the full length including the tentacles, it comes to just under 40 cm.

Seahorse Hippy
Hippy is about 24 cm tall. For the gentle color gradient, I used a lace yarn with a glitter thread (Moonlight by Bumbo), held double. The bright red crest was crocheted from leftover sponge yarn.

Of course, shells belong in every underwater landscape! If you don’t have any real ones, you can crochet your own from leftover yarn. 3 different models are available in this pattern. They turn out especially beautiful and realistic if you use pastel colors or color-gradient yarn.

For this weekend, I have a sweet little elephant on offer - little Elo :-) He has been helping us out with hair washing for quite some time now. He keeps the eyes nice and dry. He also likes to jump into the bathtub and gently washes the face or neck. Sometimes he tickles a little while doing it, because he really loves hearing children laugh.

Elo is a faithful companion from birth - first as a comfort cloth, and later as a washcloth. This gives the child who receives it a friend for many years.
