New Knitting Patterns June 2021: Start Knitting Now

get new knitting patterns now and get started with them right away.

You can introduce all new knitting patterns from June and from May 29/30/31 here. Don’t forget links, pictures, info, etc.

Knitting pattern for a hexagon —use it on its own as an appliqué for a placemat, for example, or join many hexagons together to create a beautiful blanket.

This hexagon is knitted from the outside in using 4 needles from a set of double-pointed needles. 

The stitch patterns in my shirt SamYak are described in detail and also shown as charts.
They are absolutely suitable for beginners.

Size information is provided from S to XL; two rectangles are knitted and then bound off together.





The second knitted hexagon is here for you—use it, for example, to knit a great blanket with a mix of patterns, or as an appliqué for a pillow or placemat.

The hexagon is knitted with a set of double-pointed needles from the outside in, and for this one, I’ve chosen a beautiful lace pattern. 

This beautiful little cloth arrived in my shop today. I designed it especially for my daughter, since she’s starting to love romantic motifs like this. She uses it as a super-soft face cloth. You can just as easily use this motif in pure cotton to knit a dishcloth or pot holder. You’ll find suggestions for suitable yarns in the description and in the pattern.

The cloth is knitted using the double-face technique. A detailed guide to the basics of double-face knitting is included free of charge. With classic double-face knitting, the text appears mirror-reversed on one side. This pattern also includes a version that lets you knit the cloth so that the text appears the right way around on both sides.

I’m happy to introduce you to my new knitting pattern, and the first one in the Blickfang-Design store: The Rumiko origami bag is knitted using only knit stitches and requires no increases or decreases. A lovely beginner project.
It goes wonderfully with the round Wangari shawl, which has also just moved into my Blickfang-Design store. However, it is crocheted. A combination for everyone who enjoys crocheting and knitting.
