Start thinking about Mother’s Day and Father’s Day now!
Sweets, a nice bottle, a small flowerpot—whatever it is: wrapped in this pretty little bag, your gift becomes something very special that comes from the heart!
It is crocheted using the tapestry technique with double stitches. This means there are no floats on the inside, and the individual stitches line up exactly on top of each other instead of being offset. That makes this technique especially suitable for multicolored patterns. Even if you don’t know this technique yet, you can give it a try, because it is explained in detail in the pattern. There is a chart for the pattern, but it is also described stitch by stitch.
The little bag has a diameter of about 9 cm and is 20 cm tall. You’ll need about 1 skein of cotton yarn in each color.

This empty jam jar with a crocheted lid is also perfect for packaging sweets. The penguin mama protecting her child under her wing is a wonderful motif, especially for Mother’s Day! The lid cover can be crocheted from colorful leftover yarn.

And the heart with the two little bears holding hands is also a wonderful motif for Mother’s Day! The heart measures about 11 x 11 cm. You can use leftover yarn here, too.
