A little sparkle never hurts :-) This “Life is magic” gym bag is knitted in doubleface and has a glitter thread carried along in the main section. This makes the gym bag sparkle beautifully in the sunshine. And the big unicorn is sure to make every unicorn fan’s eyes sparkle too!

With just 25–30 grams of leftover yarn in two different colors, you can knit this cozy “Winter Sun” headband. It is knitted in doubleface and therefore looks great from both sides. Depending on your mood, you can wear the light or dark side facing out.

You can also knit this sweet comfort cloth from leftover yarn in two different colors. Little elephant Elo is looking forward to a new friend! This comfort cloth is also knitted in doubleface and looks equally great from both sides. When the child is too big for a comfort cloth, Elo is happy to serve as a washcloth.

You can crochet beautiful baby blankets with Bobbel yarn cakes—the color choices are (almost) endless. Depending on whether you want to make a light summer blanket or a warm fall/winter blanket, you can use cotton yarn or a blended yarn. My baby blankets are designed so they can be crocheted in one piece, with no separate pieces to sew together afterward.

With this pattern, you can crochet a baby blanket based on an original pattern from my grandma.

   Here’s the pattern

The second design is made with lots of heart and can also be crocheted with a Bobbel yarn in your preferred composition and in the colors of your choice—giving you a wonderful gift for a new baby.

Here’s the pattern

With the respective leftovers from the Bobbel yarn cakes, you can crochet a small school cone as creative gift packaging for little treats to mark the start of school.

And now—have fun crocheting!

This cardigan for toddlers from 1.5 years is knitted with cotton Bobbel yarn. The color-coordinated stripes are knitted in using leftovers.

Hand-dyed fine yarn is very suitable for knitting such a pretty scarf, cowl, or stole. The lace pattern can also be easily extended by experienced knitters, both in length and width.

Bouclé cotton creates pretty effects, just like in this vest, which has slimming vertical stripes. The vest is knitted with a slightly fitted shape and fits size 40/42.

The Good Mood Scarf lives up to its name and, with its simple pattern, puts you in a good mood while you knit it. And if you choose the right colors for your Bobbel, nothing can go wrong.
I knitted mine using a 4-ply, 1400 m Bobbel.

My absolute favorite shawl is this crocheted triangular shawl made from a yarn that’s 99% cotton.

The pattern repeats over 2 rows, and you start at the tip and finish when you’ve used up all the yarn or reached the desired size.

lace pattern. This shawl also starts at the tip and is knitted upward until it reaches the desired size.

You should be familiar with knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, and increasing stitches.

Yarns with color gradients are really wonderful. You can create something especially striking with very simple patterns and shapes, because the color gradients bring every little piece to life. Here are my suggestions for you. For more pictures, information, and the pattern itself, please simply click on the headings.

Warm regards from Ina

Doorstop "Sandbag"

With just one 150 g ball of yarn with a color gradient, you can crochet a sturdy doorstop weighing 4 kg. It is filled with small pebbles placed inside a cotton shopping bag. It keeps every door securely in position. No more drafts can slam a door shut and pinch little fingers.

My little grandchild also likes to play with the heavy bags sometimes and test his strength;

Universal Cowl for the Whole Family

Here, too, the color effect comes straight from the ball of yarn. The pattern in combination with the gradient yarn looks very interesting. The cowl is simply knitted in the round. Of course, it also looks lovely in a solid color.

Endless Blanket

Here I crocheted with a 1500-meter Bobbel. The pattern works from the inside outward. You can keep continuing it endlessly—as long as the yarn lasts or until you reach the desired size.
