"Westside Cowl" - sportive cowl for men and women, knitting pattern

Product description

WESTSIDE COWL - a knitting pattern by fil-art-aue

Far west - where waves thunder against the rocks, the Atlantic is rough and the wind blows in fierce gusts - a warm cowl is indispensable!

A classical Half-Brioche-Pattern in Fisherman's Rib provides a nice structure and a pleasantly warming volume even with rather thinner yarns! A double layered cuff forms the upper and lower edge, through the upper cuff can also be pulled a knitted I-Cord, so you can easily regulate the width to your needs. A rather small and not such voluminous loop, which can be adjusted in length and width.
The cowl is knitted on circular needles in rounds bottom up. The pattern needs some concentration first, but with 4 rounds that always repeat, you will surely have internalized it soon. Pattern is both – charted and written.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Basic knowledge and some practice in knitting is all you need, but the pattern needs some concentration first. All steps are explained in detail. For techniques that might not be quite so familiar, there are also links to helpful videos.

You will receive a detailed knitting pattern over 6 pages, in English and German language with material specifications, alternative yarn suggestions, detailed instructions, tips, further links and photos.

Super schick
