A whole bouquet of large sunflowers

Sunflowers instantly put you in a good mood and bring a smile to everyone who sees them.
With a little practice, these large sunflowers are easy for ambitious beginners to crochet, too.

Spring decor chickens on the perch

The cute goose family makes a wonderful decoration for springtime! You can decorate them in different scenes again and again: the proud goose pair with the egg, then when the first gosling hatches, the whole family together, the goslings’ first outing...
To crochet the family, you’ll need about 50 g of white cotton yarn. For the other colors (yellow, pink, green, gray, blue, orange), a few scraps are enough.

A very varied project where you can crochet with lots of colorful leftover yarn is the “Noah’s Ark” door wreath. With its rainbow colors and many exotic animals, it makes a wonderful decoration for a child’s room. So it’s also an original gift for a birth or baptism that is sure to bring joy for a long time.
The base for the wreath is a Styrofoam ring (half ring) measuring 25 cm in diameter, which is crocheted around with cotton yarn.

Who’s peeking out of that egg? You can crochet these cute little Easter animals using just a few leftovers of yarn. I used a slightly fluffy yarn here (Estivo II by Lana Grossa), but you can still see the stitches very clearly. You can also crochet the animals using regular cotton yarn. For the eggs, I used thick acrylic yarn so they wouldn’t turn out too floppy. If you’d like to use the same cotton yarn here as you did for the animals, you should use a double strand.
