how about some new and tried-and-true patterns for triangular shawls / stoles / scarves / cowls? Get started right away.

The “Autumn Leaf” shawl has a very simple pattern and gets its effect mainly from its unusual shape and the color gradient. It is first crocheted like a star blanket. Then the points are worked out. It can be crocheted with any cake yarn or gradient yarn (approx. 1150 m needed)

These three cozy cowls are all knitted in double knitting. This knitting technique lets you conjure up wonderful motifs in wool—and the cowls are nice and warm thanks to the double-layer knitting, too. They can be worn on either side, with the pattern appearing in the opposite color on each side. Here, you can decide as you knit whether it will be a loop, a scarf, or a stole. A thin gradient yarn is recommended here. You’ll achieve a very pretty result with a color gradient.
