Finding peace and relaxation - yes, dear Josefa, that's when a pattern is successful: when it can do that while crocheting or knitting. After all, you want to forget everyday life and simply spend time on beautiful things. In the end, you have something handmade and completely individual, created with your own hands.

I have selected my personal Top 10 crochet patterns for relaxing for you. You can find many more in my shop. Even window-shopping is relaxing, and the selection is larger.

I hope you have lots of joy with your needlework. For more photos, information, and the pattern itself, please simply click on the headings.

Warm greetings from Ina

Round Colorful Rug
You can crochet it in 2 sizes (70 or 100 cm in diameter). Each rug is one of a kind because of the colors you choose.

“African Flowers” Cushion
This is especially relaxing because we first crochet lots and lots of colorful hexagons. You choose the colors as you like. Then we crochet them together, add buttons, and a unique cushion cover is finished.

Mosaic Blanket Made of Squares
Here, too, the relaxation comes from crocheting lots of identical colored squares. At the end, we crochet these together into a blanket. Finally, we crochet a border around it, and a beautiful, individual blanket for playing or decorating is finished.

Colorful Craft Bucket

A lovely stash-busting project that produces a colorful container for your crochet tools and current project. The pattern and method are very straightforward.

Doll Clothes “Swing” Series

Yes, these are always relaxing too, because while crocheting you can already picture the little doll mom’s face when she plays with them. You can make all 6 models you see in the photo and combine them wonderfully with each other.

Favorite Heart
It is filled with washable polyester fiberfill and therefore looks plump and 3D. You can use it as a keychain charm or a scented hanger for the closet. Or simply give it to someone dear as a lucky charm. It only needs a little yarn.

Knitting Nancy Rug
Here the good old knitting Nancy comes into play - the one with the crank, though. First we crank out lots of cords in different colors. These are then threaded into a crocheted mesh. Then a border is added around it, and a completely individual and unique rug for the children's room is finished.

Candy Cushion
We only need 2 skeins of yarn each in red and white. From them, we crochet two separate round discs in a very relaxed way, which we then crochet together into a cushion. The cushion is filled with synthetic fiberfill, so it can be washed completely in the washing machine.

Doll Clothes “Fresh Summer Fashion”
With a few grams of colored yarn, you can crochet the various doll clothes from the photo. It's fun because it doesn't take long and you can mix and match everything nicely. You can make these ahead of time and then delight your daughters or grandchildren with them.

“African Flowers” Heart Cushion
The project is relaxing because you first have to crochet lots of beautiful, colorful hexagons and half-hexagons. It's a lot of fun, and you try to make each one different from the others. At the end, they are crocheted together into a heart. The back is a solid color. The cushion is stuffed with synthetic fiberfill and can therefore be washed completely in the washing machine.

Knitting socks is always a good idea and relaxing. If only it weren’t for the heel.

Now there’s a solution for that. With the brilliantly simple mowi heel, you’ll practically get addicted to treating your whole family to hand-knitted socks. The pattern explains it using the CraSyTrio, meaning 3 needles, which makes the whole thing even easier. Of course, you can also keep knitting with a set of double-pointed needles if you prefer.

This cowl and shoulder warmer is very quick and easy to knit. It keeps you nice and warm with wide necklines and also looks very pretty. Also suitable for beginners who have knitted before.

This little pinafore dress is a true quick-change artist. It fits from ages 1.5 to 5 years and is easy to knit—seamlessly. The pretty little heart pattern is made up of knit and purl stitches.

Knitting pattern for a blanket - cable look without a cable needle

Knitting with knit and purl stitches is very relaxing. Every few rows, the pattern repeat shifts, and then you continue with knit and purl stitches......

Knitting pattern for a collar - as an alternative to a loop scarf or collar

Here, knit and purl stitches are worked with a circular knitting needle. With thick yarn, the collar is finished quickly and will be a welcome companion in the cold.

Or would you prefer a scarf?

Here, too, knit and purl stitches promise a relaxing evening with your knitting needles.

You can always crochet a bookmark from leftover yarn from time to time. All bookworms will be delighted by such an original little gift. Fantasy and fairy tale fans, in particular, love this dragon bookmark. It takes a little time to sew the individual pieces together, but it’s really worth it!

Right now, we can’t visit our loved ones as often as we might like. But they’re sure to be delighted by such a cute greeting that comes from the heart. This little heart with the two bears holding hands is also perfect for Valentine’s Day.
You only need leftover yarn to crochet it!

Christmas is over, and the next holiday is already approaching: Easter will be here sooner than you think! These sweet little bunnies are crocheted in no time and look absolutely adorable on an Easter branch.
But they’re also great for an Easter basket, as table decorations, or as keychains. And best of all, this project lets you put even the smallest amounts of leftover yarn to good use!

18 Snowflakes, and each one is unique!

I recently revised the pattern, making some of the snowflakes a bit prettier and replacing others with nicer ones. Now they are ready to download and make!

These snowflake templates are intended for tissue paper or similarly thin paper. The finished snowflakes are about 19 cm in size and are cut from folded paper squares as usual.

For crafting beginners, there is an illustrated pattern and a folding guide.

Now here are the Top 10 knitting patterns from my shop that are perfect for relaxing. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

Warm regards from Ina

Timeless Baby Blanket Made from Merino Wool
This is the ideal gift for a birth. Baby and parents will enjoy the soft, warm blanket made from the finest merino wool for many years. It keeps you reliably warm and helps regulate temperature. The blanket can be washed in the washing machine.

Wrist Warmers with a Decorative Cable

It doesn't take much yarn, and you can knit a pair of beautiful wrist warmers for yourself or your best friend. There is a decorative cable on top. The insides are knitted in stockinette stitch. The thumb gusset makes them fit well. You can knit them in 2 sizes.

Lace Shawl for Beginners
The pattern consists of just 2 pattern rows that repeat over and over. The beautiful color gradient comes straight from the ball of yarn. At the end, the shawl is blocked, allowing it to reveal its full beauty. You can wear it draped open or casually knotted.

Warm Poncho in One Size
This is such a versatile garment for spring and fall. You simply throw it on when you go outside or feel chilly. It always fits and the length is adjustable. We knit it as a top-down raglan.

Doll Clothing Basics Series
Knitting doll clothes is very relaxing. You don't need much wool and you finish quickly. While knitting, you can already imagine how the doll mommies will play with them. You can knit all the garments you see in the photo. Everything can be combined beautifully.

Modern Slouchy Hat with Scarf or Cowl

Young girls especially like this model because the hat has a casual drape and you can also hide long hair underneath it. The wool is very soft and comfortable to wear. You can combine the hat with a scarf or a cowl.

Universal Cowl for the Whole Family
This one is also quick to knit for the whole family. You can knit it in a solid color or with gradient yarn. The pattern forms all by itself.

Featherlight Cowl
I love knitting this cowl again and again: for myself or for special people. It is knitted from soft cashmere yarn with a touch of silk. The pattern is as simple as can be, but it takes a lot of diligence because we knit with fine needles and thin yarn. The result and the way it feels to wear will delight you.

The Ice Princess’s Coat

There’s always room for something small for the dolls. Here we knit a little coat with a large hood and a wide plush collar.

One-Step Felted Booties

This felted shoe model is my favorite because it is knitted in one piece. After that, the washing machine takes care of the felting. You can knit them in all sizes and color combinations for you and your loved ones.
