Here, even the color is called Vintage :-) These double-face knitted potholders with the flamingos in love like it when things get hot in your kitchen! When they’re not needed, they hang around looking pretty. Thanks to the double-face knitting technique, they look great on both sides. You’ll also get a pattern for the double-face basics for free.

They are knitted from one skein each of Schachenmayr Catania in the colors Vintage and Hyacinth.

Here is the knitting pattern for the “Flamingo Love” potholders

With the Uwagi RVO cardigan, you can let yourself be transported back to the early 1960s.
For the model shown, you need 310 g of 4-ply gradient yarn cake (here: Peppermint by Traumgarne).

Uwagi can be individually adjusted to your desired size.

Do you remember those old toilet-roll covers that used to sit in the back of the car? Now you can replace them with this pretty cover that hides tissues inside. You always need those, everywhere. On the one hand, this is a lovely gift idea, and on the other, a useful decoration that simply belongs in every room.

Easy to crochet; leftover yarn is all you need.

What really stands out about this hat is the large checkered pattern, which is reminiscent of 1970s fashion.
If you’d like, you can finish off the top of the hat with a knitted button. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for this.
The pattern is available in 5 sizes, making it suitable for the whole family.
The detailed step-by-step knitting pattern is available here: Easy Peasy Plaid Hat

I also have a lovely retro design: a “Spiralibus” bobble hat for kids that they’ll love. The free pattern is available in my shop. The twist forms naturally as you follow the pattern.

I hope you have fun making it.

Best regards, Ina

And here’s another retro tip: How about making your own crocheted “board games”? You’re surely familiar with these from back in the day. Back then—and even now—they were made of cardboard. But you can also crochet them. That way, they’re much lighter, easier to transport, and you can wash them. You can roll them up and take them along on a picnic or on vacation. The crochet pattern for the matching bag and game pieces is included in the pattern for the game.

Do you still remember Grandma’s polka-dot coffee set? These two potholders are modeled after that dinnerware. They are crocheted double, so you can slip them on like a glove. The pattern describes every row stitch by stitch. In addition, there is also a graphical counting chart. The pattern for the white bobbles is explained in detail with lots of pictures. That way, even beginners can manage the pattern well.
You can purchase the2  patterns together as a
value bundle
or individually, the pattern for the:
  Coffee Cup Potholder
or for the
Milk Can Potholder

The “TULP” granny square pattern really reminds me of 1950s traditional fashion… Of course, like any granny square pattern, it’s very versatile…It’s a real joy to crochet this pattern… the tulips look like they’re embroidered… but they’re cleverly designed and easy to crochet:
