Fanny Coaster Set
Make useful things from leftovers

 -- to the pattern --

The colorful, lively coasters are a quick project for leftover yarn.

With basic crochet skills these coasters are quick to crochet. As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes all 3 versions in detail (2-color, 3-color, 4-color).

Just under 10 g of cotton yarn (e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun, yardage 115 m/50 g) was crocheted per coaster.
They have a diameter of approx. 11 cm.

What could be nicer at Christmas time than self-crocheted little angels! White crochet yarn, or even leftover crochet yarn, a crochet hook, a few beads, and a little time. These decorations are quick to make and bring joy for a long time when given as gifts.

to the pattern

This year, too, I crocheted snowflakes and little stars for Christmas. The snowflakes make wonderful Christmas tree ornaments and can also be used as coasters for tea lights. A great Christmas gift. The pattern is suitable for beginners, so a snowflake can be made in no time. It uses very little yarn, making it ideal for using up yarn scraps.

We are two little booties (baby shoes) and belong together, which is why we are called a pair of booties or baby shoes. We are soft and keep little feet nice and warm. The babies who get us don’t want any others and are happy to wear us. We are quick to knit and super easy to make. Colorful and bright yarn scraps are very welcome here and are perfect for mixing and matching. But that’s not the end of our story! The exciting part continues at the following link:

Below you'll find a selection of ideas from my shop for all the things you can create with your leftover yarn:

1) Not just for Christmas: you can crochet these pretty angels quickly and easily in one piece—only the halo is crocheted separately. Put an electric tealight underneath and they glow in the dark.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************
2) Keychain or bag charm with angel wings
Even without a key ring, hung as decoration in the window or over a little child’s bed, these beautiful charms are always eye-catching.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************
3) “Totally retro,” my children said when I crocheted these cute angels in three sizes. They are easy to crochet and finished in no time. Over 1,400 sales and 70 reviews with an average of 5 stars speak for themselves.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************
4) “The Wegglies” — a cute gang of gnome egg cozies — decorations for your breakfast table.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************
5) Or how about these beautiful angel wings / wings in shabby chic—
the individual wings are worked all the way around in one piece. So there’s no need to sew front and back pieces together. Clever and quick to make.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************

6) Easter will be here sooner than you think. The “Sweet Little Chicks” are crocheted with the clever double stitches, making them wonderfully suitable for embroidering.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************

7) This cute bag dangler is sure to put you in a good mood, too—made up of a sun hat and flip-flops, it pretties up any bag. On top of that, it has room for your shopping cart token or euro coin.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************

8) These sweet little baskets are also a cheerful, colorful eye-catcher. You can use them in many ways, e.g. as tealight holders (LED), gift packaging, table decor, etc.

Here’s the pattern

************************************************

9) Practical for cosmetics, jewelry, odds and ends, etc., this pretty cosmetic bag is just as handy as the cute tissue pouch.
Here’s the pattern

********************************************************

10) Angel “Lovely” — these sweet little angels with their embroiderable skirts will enchant your loved ones as well as your home. Thanks to the detailed description, including a crochet chart, they are quick and easy to crochet. Can also be used as an Advent calendar.

Here’s the pattern

************************************************

11) Lady “Gagack” and her chatty friends: egg cozies, edge sitters, or cute table decor—also great for hiding a few Easter eggs underneath.
Here’s the pattern

12) Cute hen egg cozies, just like we remember from Grandma.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************

13) This pretty little pouch makes every gift shine even more. Great for jewelry, but also for many other small items.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************

14) Quick to make and very decorative are these cute decorative garlands. The motifs can be combined with one another however you like. The garland is crocheted in one “go,” works up super quickly, and you only need a few leftover bits of yarn.
Here’s the pattern

************************************************

15) Super cute, simple, and quick to make are these bunnies.
Here’s the pattern

16) Fun earrings for cheeky little fruits
The perfect eye-catcher for warm spring days and guaranteed to lift your mood even on gloomy days! A great gift or small little something to bring along.

Here’s the pattern

************************************************

17) Bangle made from PET bottles. Hard to believe but true: all you need is an old PET bottle, a rhinestone chain, and some yarn, and in no time, with a little skill, you’ll have a sparkling eye-catcher for your wrist or a great gift for dear friends.

For the angel wings, you don't even need 20 g of cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m/50 g, or sponge yarn with a yardage of 90 m/50 m. They are easy for experienced crocheters to crochet, and ambitious beginners can certainly manage them too (the pattern includes not only the crochet chart and written crochet pattern, but also lots of photos).

You can use the angel wings in many ways as decoration or as a lovely gift for someone you want to send on their way with a guardian angel.

This Snowflake Mobile has another great advantage besides its exceptionally pretty appearance: This project is a wonderful way to use up your leftover white cardstock.

The chains on this mobile are approximately 42 and 47 cm long; in addition to the cardstock scraps, I used ready-made pom-poms here. The mobile is very easy to recreate and is also well suited for patient beginners.

Even leftover sponge yarn can quickly be crocheted into enchanting things that can be used in many ways for decoration or, for example with a shower gel or body lotion, make a perfect small gift.

For example

Snowflakes in 3 designs

The sponge yarn is so shape-retaining that you don’t need to additionally stiffen the snowflakes. And the smooth fringes of the yarn reflect light and make the snowflakes sparkle beautifully.

Crochet patterns

Skirt with flounce, 2-piece

The 2-piece set consists of a full, swinging skirt that you can crochet in any length you like. There is also a matching top. Both pieces fasten at the back with snap fasteners.

Small round basket

You can always use this, and it looks pretty. The double base is made sturdy with an inserted CD. The handle is reinforced on the inside with a plastic strip, so it keeps its shape.

Nightdress with little jacket
Of course, this 2-piece set can also be worn during the day. It consists of a slim dress with a shaped bust and a matching little jacket.

Colorful craft bucket
It is crocheted from lots of colorful leftovers. It has pockets all around where you can tuck in your tools. Your current project goes inside. That way you always have everything together and can also move it from A to B.

Poncho for dolls

You can make it in different versions: with a turn-down collar, with a separate collar, without a collar, plus a matching hat.

Favorite heart
You can always find a few leftover bits of yarn for this. The heart can be used as a keychain or a scented hanger for the closet, or as a sweet greeting for someone special. It is filled with synthetic stuffing.

Doll clothes

This 3-piece set consists of a full, swinging skirt, a halter top, and a matching bolero.

2 colorful little buckets
These former yogurt buckets, dressed up in color, are perfect for all kinds of odds and ends. They are a wonderful way to use up your leftover yarn. With the model on the left, we don’t have to weave in any ends because we simply crochet them into the next round. I show you exactly how in the pattern.

Fresh summer fashion for dolls
You will receive 6 crochet patterns for all the models you can see in the image below. Everything can be mixed and matched beautifully.

Tablecloth weights
Inside they have a heavy stainless steel nut surrounded by synthetic stuffing. This gives them the weight they need to hold a tablecloth on the table. They are washable, and they’re a wonderful way to use up your leftovers. They also make a nice set of 4 to give to gardening friends when you’re invited over.

Doll fashion series "Swing"
You can make the 6 models you see in the photo. There is also a hand-sewing pattern for the tulle underskirt. Everything can be combined beautifully.

Pencil roll
This is a wonderful way to use up your various leftover cotton yarns. You can make the roll as long as you like. The compartments have room for crochet hooks or pencils. After use, the roll is rolled up again and can be stored neatly.

Little summer dress for dolls

You’re sure to have a leftover bit of yarn for this. The little dresses are quick to crochet and fasten at the back with 3 snap fasteners.

Knitting patterns

Felt insoles
Leftover felt wool or yarns with a high wool content can be wonderfully turned into felt insoles for your family’s rubber boots or winter boots. The pattern includes a template for cutting out the right size.

Turtleneck sweater for dolls
It is knitted as a top-down raglan. The length of the sweater is variable, depending on your taste and the amount of leftover yarn.

Long dress with slit

The dress is knitted with a set of double-pointed needles. 15 g of sock yarn is enough. The crocheted shawl in the photo is available in my shop as a free pattern to download.

Doll fashion series "Basics"

You get 7 knitting patterns for all the models you can see in the photo. Everything can be combined nicely.

Cardigan

It is knitted as a top-down raglan. The length is variable.

Elegant evening dress
You can knit a beautiful dress from just 15 g of sock yarn. We knit with a set of double-pointed needles.

Doll clothes
The 3-piece set consists of a pair of pants, overalls, and a top. The length of the pants/overalls is variable.

A new leftover yarn project has arrived in my shop. Now there’s also a colorful jumpsuit for dolls and teddy bears that are 45–50 cm tall. It’s knitted using top-down raglan and has a button placket in the front.

You’ll have fun knitting it and then dressing your doll or teddy bear in it.
