Dear users, dear authors,
here in this thread you’ll find the awards ceremony for the November projects.

In the link, you can read through the November projects again.
December Projects + November Projects Part 3: the Crazypatterns Handicraft Group (No Advertising)

Info about the final sprint / awards ceremony:

How can I take part?
If you would like to join in with the awards ceremony, copy the text section between the asterisks in the post directly below into your own text field / reply field, then cross out everything that does not apply to you, and fill in only what you would like to write down.

When will the November awards ceremony take place?
Around December 4/5, 2020. Every participant will be included. No one will be left without an honorary title.

But I’m “just” a regular user here and not an author with my own shop on Crazypatterns. Can I still take part in the awards ceremony?
All users and all authors can take part in the Crazypatterns awards ceremony. Anyone who writes a relevant post here in the final sprint / awards ceremony thread is then automatically included in the awards ceremony. Newcomers may take part too. If you don’t have an account yet, register for free and simply join in.

November title awards: every participant receives at least one title
If someone has handled many challenges this month in everyday life / offline / in “normal” life without the internet, this can, at the request of the respective user / author, be recognized with an
appropriate honorary title / with extra bonus points. If necessary, I will come up with a suitable honorary title.

Earn extra points / bonus points and improve your own karma: Here’s how it’s done.
- You always get extra
bonus karma points for your own uploaded photos / images. Please do not upload any third-party images or photos from the internet / internet photos for which you do not have the rights / photos that do not belong to you here in the forum. These must be deleted. Please also no external links.

- Finished handmade items that are given to dear people as gifts or also
donated will of course always earn you extra karma points or bonus points, to properly acknowledge the time, effort + energy spent on them.
--> Please provide the details here in the thread, if you would like to share them.

- Feedback for the Crazypatterns authors, e.g. in the form of reviews, comments, etc., is also always rewarded with extra points.
--> Please write down details about this if applicable, if you would like to.

Template to copy in the post directly below.

Bravely hanging in there during the coronavirus pandemic too: become and remain the Corona Perseverance Queen/King
[ ] I am and will continue to be brave, meet the respective requirements (disinfecting, thorough handwashing, staying socially distanced, staying home, wearing masks, etc.), not lose my courage, and hope for the best.

If any of you should feel lonely during Advent / at Christmas or even on completely normal days, here in the forum there is always someone you can chat with.
Here on Crazypatterns: together instead of lonely (No advertising)

UFO Queen/King in November / WIP Queen/King in November
[ ] In November I finished a UFO (= an unfinished object = an unfinished handmade project that may have been waiting to be finished for quite a while) or a November WIP (= work in progress = a handmade project in progress, a project that had been worked on for a longer time), and therefore I have truly earned the title of UFO Queen/King / WIP Queen/King in November.
Details about the respective UFO/WIP:

[ ] I was really very hardworking in November, finished several UFOs, and have therefore truly earned the November title of UFO Queen/King/WIP Queen/King.
Details about the finished UFOs:

[ ] In November I ended / finished all my UFOs or finally took them apart / unraveled them / disposed of them. That earns extra bonus points. Unraveling also counts as finishing a UFO.
Details about the UFOs:

Queen/King of the long-term project
[ ] I am working on a larger / extensive long-term project and am continuing to stick with it. Pictures are always a good idea.
Details about the long-term project:

[ ] I was finally able to finish my extensive long-term project. Please upload photos.
Details about the finished long-term project:

Alien Queen/King: UFOs are great.
[ ] I have lots of UFOs / WIPs that want to be finished, and therefore I am the November Queen/King of the friendly alien planet. :- ) Extra bonus points are awarded for a truly large number of UFOs. Photos of the UFOs are a good idea.
Details:

disciplined stick-with-it Queen/King: no chance for the UFOs
[ ] I have no or hardly any UFOs because I always stick consistently and with discipline to my current project instead of switching between several unfinished handmade projects.
Details:

Best at leftovers in November
[ ] In November I used up lots of leftover yarn / fabric scraps / paper scraps / cardboard scraps and have thus truly earned the title of Best at Leftovers in November.
Details about the leftover projects:

Yarn Diet 2020 / Yarn Empress/Emperor / Inner-Pig-Dog Conqueror in November 2020
[ ] I did not buy any yarn in November and am therefore deservedly Yarn Empress/Emperor in November.
[ ] I have not bought any yarn for quite some time and am
therefore Yarn Empress of the month / quarter, etc. But the yarn diet is over now; I will buy yarn in November / for Christmas.
--> Please state the total period of the yarn diet.
[ ] I would like to have the honorable title of brave Inner-Pig-Dog Conqueror, because short yarn diets / yarn diets in between are simply not enough for me. My goal is to last a whole year or even longer without buying yarn.
Please state the total period.
[ ] I am working on the title Super Yarn-Mountain Conqueror = This is a very long and very detailed yarn diet that is continued after the honorary title
Inner-Pig-Dog Conqueror (= a whole year without buying yarn).
--> As far as I know, no one is currently working on the Yarn-Mountain Conqueror, but I’ll leave this here as motivation for shorter / short yarn diets. :- )
[ ] I am joining the yarn diet starting January 1, 2020 and will
diet for one month / a whole quarter / half a year or a whole year and thereby earn the title or titles Yarn Empress/Quarterly Empress/Half-Year Empress/Yarn-Mountain Conqueror.
Details are available in the link:
Yarn diet from 1/1/2020 - Part 2: defeating the inner pig dog (No advertising)
--> You can also join, or rejoin, at a later point if you did not manage it from January 1, 2020, or if you had to interrupt the yarn diet.
[ ] I am joining the yarn diet in the new year starting 1/1/2021, or I will then work on the Yarn-Mountain Conqueror (much more than 1 year of yarn diet).

Details:

Wish list expander / favorites list expander
[ ] My wish list with all the patterns I would like / would like to have / would like to make has grown, because I enjoy clicking through the new items / bestsellers / highlights / the authors’ shops, etc.

Should we take a break from the awards ceremony until the new year if you’re too busy right now?
The November ceremony would have been the last one of 2020.

The next awards ceremony will be in early February at the earliest for the January projects. Traditionally, there is no December/January awards ceremony because of Christmas / New Year’s Eve / the holidays.
I’m currently considering holding awards ceremonies only quarterly, as interest in them has declined.

The recognition of “Yarn Diet” participants after one year on the diet has nothing to do with the December awards ceremony.

Thanks, Josefa, for the many titles and the good wishes. Yes, there’s still a lot to do before Christmas, and there are already plenty of projects waiting for afterward—especially the CAL (shawl) and the KAL (scarf), which are currently on hold.

I was happy to do that.
You’ll do great with all of this. :-)

Thanks, Josefa! You always manage to put a smile on my face when I read your awards ceremony posts. I especially like “The Queen of the Bakery.”

I’d really miss something here if there were only an awards ceremony every three months. After all, it’s incredibly motivating to finish things and stick with it. So we’ll just have to motivate each other.
