Yay, weekend :-) In my opinion, a lovely handmade project is ALWAYS just right for that. Here are a few suggestions for you - they’re all made using the double-face knitting technique. If you don’t know it yet: give it a try; it’s really not that difficult (in my shop you’ll find a free pattern with the basics and a practice project).

Knitting pattern for the “Flamingo Love” potholders - these two flamingos like it hot :-) They don’t just enjoy hanging around decoratively; they’re also happy to make themselves useful!

Knitting pattern for the reversible “Cheeky Sheep” beanie - this cheeky sheep peeks out from the front and back of the hat, or so it seems ;-) My daughter loves this beanie - maybe you know someone who would be happy to have it, too?

Knitting pattern for the “Love & Energy” loop scarf - love and energy are always good to have, but even more so in difficult times like these. With this loop scarf featuring the Chinese characters for love and energy, you can snuggle up in them. Knit it in your favorite colors, or maybe as a gift for someone who could especially use a little love and energy right now!

Sonja wishes you a lovely weekend

Are you still looking for a great project to crochet for the weekend...
I have something new for you.

This sweet pony is brand new here at CP and is urgently looking for
a new home. It is also super easy for beginners to make.

Doll "Lilly" and rocker "Pauli" love making music together
Maybe you’d like to make music with them

Triceratops "Nelly" is absolutely sweet and just wants to cuddle

Would you like to crochet a little something for Advent and Christmas already?

For this pretty, star-shaped tea light holder  you only need about 10 g of cotton. I used Catania glamour, which has a silver glitter thread running through it. It reflects the light of the LED tea light and creates a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.
The pattern describes every round in detail. There is also a crochet chart for anyone who prefers to work from a chart.

The baubles and the little dresses of the angels for these cute angels in a heavenly bauble  were also crocheted with Catania glamour. One angel watches over the day and one over the night—so you have a guardian angel at any time of day or night. The baubles also look very decorative on the Christmas tree or in the window.

These Christmas egg cozies  are intended for a festively set breakfast table on Christmas morning or during Advent. Even if you don’t eat eggs for breakfast, you can use Santa, a snowman, and an angel to decorate your table festively. A few bits of leftover yarn are enough to crochet them.

Projects that are quick to finish and don’t require much yarn are perfect for the weekend

For example, a crochet pattern for a new headband

One skein is usually enough, and this design can easily be adjusted to your desired size (head circumference and width).

For this knitted collar, I needed 3 balls of yarn with a yardage of 85 m each.

You’ll only be knitting knit and purl stitches using circular needles.

Or how about crocheting your first Christmas gift? This balloon cover is crocheted from individual granny squares, which are sewn together at the end.

Little Angel with Candle
quick weekend project

-- to the pattern --

The little angel brings a warm light into your home.

The pattern describes in detail how you can crochet an angel like this for yourself. It includes many informative photos. Only basic crochet skills are needed.

The little angels are approx. 15 cm tall and were each crocheted from just under 20 g
cotton yarn (e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun, yardage 115 m/50 g).

Braided Scarf Trenzada
a little challenge for the weekend

-- to the pattern --

The scarf is a real eye-catcher thanks to its unusual braided pattern.

The pattern contains many informative photos and describes all steps in detail. Crochet charts are also included.

The sample shown was crocheted using just under 250g of Gründl Lisa (LL 133m/50g) and measures 160cm long and 28cm wide. The scarf can easily be adjusted in length and width.

Triangular Shawl Daphne

The asymmetrical triangular shawl Daphne is colorful and a very special eye-catcher, especially thanks to the sparkling carry-along thread. The pattern is available in my store Blickfang-Design.

The large fluffy shawl Tonke is slightly asymmetrical and can be made with any yarn and in any size. Also well suited for gradient yarn. Create your own shawl that only you have. You can find the pattern for it in my store Blickfang-Design.

Three beautiful designs for a relaxing weekend:

1) Triangle Shawl "Mayla" - The lace pattern is very easy to work, repeats every 2 rows, and works up wonderfully quickly. The shawl is crocheted from the side, is nearly symmetrical, and is well suited for beginners.

2) Soul warmer "kleine Auszeit" - for this beautiful soul warmer, you mainly insert the hook under chain-space arches, making it a delight for the eyes and a guarantee of relaxing crochet fun.

Here are my projects, maybe for next weekend:

We are two Finkli (baby shoes) and we belong together, which is why we are called a pair of Finkli or baby shoes. We are soft and keep little feet nice and warm. The babies who get us don’t want any others and are happy to wear us. We are quick to knit and super brilliantly easy to make. Colorful and bright leftover yarn is very welcome here, which is perfect for combining. That’s not the end of our story! It continues in an exciting way via the following link:

I’d like to suggest a wonderful decoration to you, which can be made quickly and easily in three steps. First you need to crochet a little, then fold it and embellish everything with beads. The decorations (size approx. 8 cm x 10 cm) are perfectly suited as Christmas tree ornaments for Christmas .
