For all train fans, big and small: a crocheted train that’s guaranteed not to scratch anything. There’s room in the cars and the locomotive for little figures (up to about 10 cm), so you can really have a blast playing with it. But this train is also a hit as a decorative piece!
Click here for the crochet pattern for the train!

If you’d rather start small and just crochet the locomotive, you can also purchase the pattern for it separately:

A cute decorative idea for a child’s room is the adorable mouse in a hot-air balloon. The mouse can be taken out of the basket for playtime. And that way, other little dolls can also go on a ride in the balloon. Placed near a window or attached to a lamp, the balloon instantly becomes an eye-catcher.

This colorful little skirt for 3- to 4-year-old girls is very popular. It is easy to knit and brings color into everyday life.

For playing outside, leggings like these made from sock yarn are just the thing. They make every game comfortable and keep you nice and warm. This pair grows with your child and fits from about ages 3 to 5.

To the knitting pattern

These leggings fit toddlers from 18 months and grow with them up to age 3. They can also be knitted from sock yarn. Here I chose a blend of merino and alpaca; it is cuddly soft. If you have knitting experience, these leggings are easy to make too.

This colorful jacket made from soft merino wool is also suitable for walks and visits to the playground. It is knitted top-down with raglan shaping, has knitted-in pockets and a hood. Good knitting experience is recommended here.
The jacket also grows a little with your child and fits about sizes 92 to 104.

Babies and toddlers usually don’t like having things pulled over their heads. That’s why I designed this hat with an attached knitted scarf for my granddaughter. There are buttons worked into the front so it can be put on and taken off very comfortably. It is easy to knit, even for beginners with some knitting experience.

Sweet knitted little dresses for babies and toddlers are very popular. Here are three designs that are very easy to make if you have knitted before. They all have little knitted-in hearts made with a knit-purl pattern.

This little dress fits a baby from 6 to at least 18 months.

To the knitting pattern for the baby pinafore dress

This sweet little pinafore dress fits a baby and even a 3-year-old toddler. Yes, it really does grow with your child and has transformation features.

And this pinafore dress tops them all, because it grows with your child from as young as 18 months to 5 years. Along the way, it transforms into a sweet little skirt.

A true classic is this tissue box with butterflies and hearts. It’s an eye-catcher anywhere, and the tissues are always right at hand—even on the dining table. I’ve already given many of them as gifts, and they have brought great joy to everyone.

Very easy to make, even for beginners who can crochet. A few colorful leftover yarn scraps are more than enough here. You surely know someone you could make happy with this for Christmas.

This round collar has already delighted many beginners, and not only them. It’s really easy to make and is indispensable now in the cool season. Also a lovely gift idea. This way, leftover balls of yarn can still be put to very pretty use.

To the knitting pattern

Socks are, of course, always the absolute hit. Maybe you’ve always shied away from them because you don’t want to knit the heel? Then I have the solution for you. With the mowi heel, it’s child’s play. You’ll be amazed. Another thing that makes it easier is knitting with 3 needles.
The pattern includes several sizes, so you can spoil the whole family with socks for Christmas.

We are two Finkli (baby shoes) and belong together, which is why we’re called a pair of Finkli or baby shoes; we’re especially suited for fall and winter. We’re soft and keep little feet nice and warm. The babies who get us don’t want any others and are happy to wear us. We’re quick to knit and super easy to make. Colorful and bright yarn scraps are very welcome here, which
are perfect for mixing and matching. That’s not the end of our story! The excitement continues via the following link:

The “Elaine” shawl stands out with two completely different patterned sides. No matter how you turn it or flip it, it simply always looks good - wonderfully soft and cozy. You should already have a bit of experience and practice with crocheting for this shawl.

This triangular shawl is very quick and easy to crochet - airy, light and chic!
It is crocheted from the side and is symmetrical. It is narrower than the typical triangular shawls, making it very versatile: e.g. as a scarf, shawl, hip wrap, quickly wrapped top, loop, etc.

Baby Blanket Lilly
a magical blanket

-- to the pattern --

The blanket makes a wonderful gift—not just for Christmas—for newborns and toddlers.

The pattern describes all steps in detail with lots of photos showing how you can crochet the blanket.

Only basic crochet skills are required. For advanced crocheters, there are also crochet charts for the blanket and all appliqués.

For the blanket, I crocheted with approx. 550 g of gradient yarn cake (4-ply, yardage 190 m/50 g).
The blanket measures 95 cm x 95 cm.

Mini snuggle cloth Duck Mia
quickly crocheted from a few bits of leftover yarn

-- to the pattern --

The mini snuggle cloth Duck Mia is a faithful companion for every little one.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes in detail, step by step how you can crochet this snuggle cloth yourself, even as an ambitious beginner .

The crocheted duck is 13.5 cm wide and 11 cm long. I used just under 30 g of cotton yarn (length 115 m/50 g, e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun).

Little Angels
Who says angels always have to be white?

-- to the pattern --

The little angels are quick to crochet from just a few scraps of leftover yarn.

The pattern explains step by step with lots of photos how you can crochet the little angels yourself.

Only basic crochet skills are required, so the little angels are also a great beginner project.

For each little angel, a little over 15 g of cotton yarn was used, e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun (115 m/50 g).
One little angel is approx. 10 cm tall.

If you’re looking to get a little spooky this Halloween, I have a great decoration idea for you here.

The window decoration measures approximately 54 x 34.7 cm, is cut out of construction paper, and backed with yellow tracing paper. Aside from being comfortable using scissors and a scalpel or craft knife, you don’t need any special skills to make it.

The St. Martin’s Day parade will be much more fun for your child if the lantern they’re carrying was made by you—and if your child was even able to help out a little.

This lantern is easy to make: Detailed craft templates allow you to cut the cardstock precisely, and illustrated instructions explain every step of the process.

The lantern is made of cardstock and tracing paper and has a nice, handy size of approx. 29 x 22 x 11 cm.
