What would I recommend to my best friend if she came to me with the question, "Ina, what can I crochet or knit?" I would think, autumn is arriving outside, so you need to make something for yourself to keep from getting cold. So here are these weekend craft suggestions for you. As always, you’ll find more pictures, information, and the pattern itself by clicking on the headings.

I hope you enjoy looking through them and making them. Have a lovely weekend!
Warm regards from Ina

1. Knitting Pattern Universal Cowl for the Whole Family

You’ll appreciate it most yourself when it’s windy outside and you’re waiting for the train. But your best friend, the kids, or your husband will be happy about it too. You just need 100 to 200 g of beautiful yarn, and you’re ready to get started. The pattern is really easy and works for everyone. You can knit it in multiple colors—here the colors come straight from the skein—or in a solid color.

2. Knitting Pattern Wrist Warmers

Your hands shouldn’t get cold either when it’s a little chilly early in the morning on the way to work or school. Your hand is kept warm, but your fingers stay free so you can, for example, use your phone or blow your nose. Gloves are always a bit awkward for that because you have to take them off. The wrist warmers have a lovely cable pattern on top and are worked in stockinette stitch on the inside. The thumb gusset is well designed, so the gloves fit nicely.

3. Crochet Pattern Round Rug Colorful

If you’re in the mood for more color, I recommend a stash-busting project. Most people always have plenty of leftover yarn at home. So maybe you’d like to crochet a rug from it? It’s a lot of fun, and in the end you have a unique one-of-a-kind piece. You can crochet it in 2 sizes and choose the colors yourself.

The weather forecast here says it’ll be perfect knitting weather this weekend ;-) Cold and rain, so you’ll be happy to stay home on the sofa...

Here I’m showing you three different designs that are so much fun to knit, the weather outside won’t matter at all. All three designs are made using the double-face knitting technique. Click the product name under each image to go to the pattern.

“Flamingo Love” Potholders - this pair of flamingos in love likes it hot ;-) When there aren’t any hot pots or pans around, they’re happy to hang decoratively in your kitchen.

“Elo Elephant” Cuddle Cloth / Washcloth
- this sweet elephant is still looking for a little friend to cuddle or bathe with. Elo is also happy to keep eyes dry during hair washing.

“Kiwi Love” Beanie
- this beanie featuring New Zealand’s symbols, the kiwi and a fern leaf, will take you in your mind, at least, to a beautiful travel destination while you knit. The size is easy to adjust.

Sonja wishes you a lovely weekend

If you’d like to crochet an Advent calendar, you should gradually get started:
The Fir Forest
is crocheted fairly quickly, because you decide for yourself how big the little trees should be. The tree for December 24 is then decorated especially with beads as a Christmas tree.

Those who still want to finish something for Halloween are in even more of a hurry. Are you invited to a Halloween party? Then bring along these potholders that fit the occasion.

A cardigan like this with a hat for toddlers from 1 year old can be knitted quickly and easily. This one was made from a gradient yarn cake, but any other yarn can also be used for it.

Easy and also suitable for beginners with knitting experience.

Right now it’s very pleasant to wear something warm around your neck. For anyone who doesn’t really like wearing a scarf, this button-on scarf collar is just the thing. It’s quick to knit—from sock yarn or leftover yarn. And it also makes a great gift idea.

Also suitable for beginners with knitting experience.

Knitting leggings for a baby is very relaxing, and the anticipation of giving them as a gift grows as you work. Even the thickest diaper fits comfortably inside. And the leggings will even grow with the child up to about age 2. I know this because my granddaughter wears them and is now 1 1/2 years old.

Easy to knit for anyone with knitting experience.

We are two Finkli (baby shoes) and belong together, which is why we’re called a pair of Finkli or baby shoes. We’re soft and keep little feet nice and warm. The babies who get us don’t want any others and are happy to wear us. We’re just perfect for fall and winter. We’re quick to knit and super easy to make. This is where colorful and bright yarn scraps are especially welcome, which
are perfect for mixing and matching. But that’s not the end of our story! The excitement continues at the following link:

A lovely crochet project: a scarf made up of several floral patterns. The length can be increased. The scarf is ideal
to wear with a coat or jacket in fall. I crocheted this scarf in a single color, but I can also imagine it looking very nice in multiple colors, e.g. made with gradient yarn.

This elegant baby/children’s headband makes an ideal gift. Every little girl will love wearing it, and it protects the child’s ears
and forehead (especially during the fall and winter months). The headband features a timeless and beautiful floral pattern. It’s reversible—the pattern looks the same on both the front and back. More info, continue -> to the pattern

Sew these for Christmas now: These super-cute elf pot holders are a blast to sew and are perfect for a weekend project! The cute little elf watches you bake Christmas cookies and helps you take them out of the oven ;) with handy openings—so the pot holders can also be used as oven mitts.

Dreamy, elegant, and beautiful—that’s the “Fairy Forest” pair of wrist warmers. Embark on a journey in the early morning hours, when the first rays of sunlight touch the treetops and nature’s fairies breathe new life into the world...

An intricate cable pattern adorns the back of the hand, flowing into the treetops of a stately tree and crowned by a pointed edge reminiscent of dragons. Keep your hands warm while still retaining full dexterity. On cold days, these wrist warmers awaken a longing for the magical power of spring.
