There’s something beautiful for every crafting technique:

With the Tunisian-crocheted “Catherine” shawl collar, you can get started with Tunisian crochet even without any prior experience! A great pattern for anyone who wants to learn Tunisian crochet—or for those who love this pattern just as much as I do ;) A quick project that looks fantastic and feels cozy and soft!

Christmas is approaching, and with it, the time for Christmas baking! To make sure everything goes off in style, this year the cute little elf will come to your kitchen and help you take the cookies out of the oven! Thanks to their practical hand openings, these beautiful pot holders with an elf motif are perfect for use as oven mitts. For a festive Christmas atmosphere in the kitchen.

A headband is ideal for fall, since it’s still too warm for a hat, but your ears can still get cold. The Ayleen headband is a lot of fun to knit and makes for a quick weekend project. You won’t even need a whole skein of yarn, and by Monday you’ll be perfectly equipped for the cold October weather!

Maybe you feel like starting an Advent calendar this weekend? This one is very easy to crochet and consists of lots of little fir trees in different sizes, arranged into an enchanting winter forest.

The trees are hollow inside, so a small surprise can be hidden underneath.

You can also crochet the little fir trees as pretty egg cozies for the Advent season. Or decorate a slightly larger tree with beads as a mini Christmas tree:
As you can see, there are lots of things you can do with these little trees.
You can find the crochet pattern here!

If you like the double-face knitting technique, you’ll find what you’re looking for in my shop :-) For this weekend, I’d like to introduce you to three different smaller double-face projects. With one click on the product name, you’ll be taken to the detailed description and pattern.

Potholders "Flamingo Love" - these two flamingos in love not only look very decorative, they’re also happy to be useful when things heat up in your kitchen!

Dishcloth "Happy Dog" - the perfect dishwashing accessory for all dog lovers. Either for regular dishes or for the dog bowl.

Cuddle cloth / Washcloth "Elo Elephant"
- this cuddly-soft cloth with the cute elephant makes a wonderful gift for a birth, or even later. It serves as a cuddle cloth, but can also be used as a washcloth. The yarn used (a blend of cotton and bamboo) is very pleasant, even on sensitive children’s skin.

A tissue box like this, decorated with butterflies and hearts, is a relaxing crochet project for the weekend and then makes a lovely gift. It looks so pretty that it’s even an eye-catcher on the dining table — that’s how it is at our place now. And anyone who sees it definitely wants one too.

Easy to crochet, also possible with colorful leftover yarn. All steps are explained well.

Babies don’t really like having something pulled over their heads. This hat has an integrated collar and can be put on and taken off very comfortably using the front buttons.

Very easy to make with a great result!

If you don’t have an Advent calendar yet—how about little gnomes this year that hide a surprise inside? They can be crocheted in various sizes, even by beginners with basic skills. Colorful leftover yarn is all you need.

Knitting pattern for a neck warmer - as an alternative to a scarf or cowl, this collar also keeps the neck area warm.

The pattern includes both written instructions and a knitting chart for the stitch pattern.

We are two Finkli (baby shoes) and we belong together, which is why we are called a pair of Finkli or baby shoes. We are soft and keep little feet nice and warm. The babies who receive us don’t want any others and are happy to wear us. We are quick to knit and super brilliantly easy to make. Colorful and bright leftover yarn is very welcome here, which is
perfect for combining. This is not the end of our story! It continues in an exciting way via the following link: Link to the pattern

I crocheted something fun for the breakfast table. The egg cozies bring the kids so much joy at the table! They’re quick to make and don’t require much yarn.

I’d like to present to you a tree skirt for the Christmas tree. The Christmas tree has been bought and placed in the stand—what’s missing? The
Christmas tree skirt, which makes the gifts placed under the tree
look even prettier. The skirt, of course, can also be used as a tablecloth

Winter Dream can be knitted with different yarn types; both options are specified in the pattern, either 200g or 150g, e.g. with Merino Baby.
The various patterns are explained simply and in detail and are absolutely beginner-friendly.

Would you like to make someone happy soon with a small gift?

If your gift isn't very large, then one of these boxes would certainly work well as packaging: The diamond-shaped boxes are ideal for elongated gifts and can be color-coordinated for any occasion and taste.

The boxes have edge lengths of 4, 5, 6, and 7 cm. They are very easy to make and also very suitable for beginners.

I also have a few more recommendations for relaxing crafts this weekend. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself. You’ll find more sample images, information, and the pattern itself by clicking the headings.

Warm regards and have a lovely weekend — Ina

Tip No. 1 - Universal Loop
--> You can knit it in 3 sizes for the whole family. It only needs a little yarn and is easy for knitting beginners to make, too. You’re sure to find the right yarn in your stash, and you can get started right away.

Tip No. 2 - Wrist Warmers
--> Autumn is here, and winter will be here soon too. That’s when you need something warm for your hands, but that still leaves your fingertips free for using your phone. How about a pair of wrist warmers? These have a beautiful cable pattern on top and are worked in stockinette stitch on the inside. A shaped thumb gusset ensures a good fit. You’re sure to find the 50 or 60 g of yarn in your yarn basket.

Tip No. 3 - Ball Gown for Dolls
--> When you crochet this fairy-tale ball gown, your daughter or granddaughter will be watching your every move, because she’ll be waiting for it to be finished. The special features are the pretty pattern in the skirt and the sewn-in tulle underneath. You can crochet the bodice in 3 different variations. Feel free to take a look at my photos. It’s my granddaughter’s favorite doll dress :-)
