No fall without shades of red! No fall without the right accessories:
The “Ayleen” headband is perfect for this season—the pattern features a wonderful cable design, and the braided knot creates a gorgeous look for fall.

Djuna Headband

A headband is quick to make and perfect for fall, because it keeps the wind out and your ears well protected. You can find the pattern for the fashionable Djuna headband in my Blickfang-Design store.

What are my favorite fall patterns?

Universal Scarf for the Whole Family

You can knit it in 3 sizes. The colors come directly from the skein of yarn, but solid-color scarves look great, too. The pattern is nice and simple—even beginners can handle it. Feel free to check out my examples and pick something you like. You’ll only need 2 to 3 skeins of yarn.

Wrist warmers with a decorative cable

Yes, these are perfect for fall. Your fingers are free to tap away on your phone, yet your hands stay nice and warm. The wrist warmers feature a beautifully crafted thumb gusset, so they fit perfectly. You can make them in two sizes: one for smaller hands and one for larger hands.

Ponchos in Various Styles for Small Dress-Up Dolls

Fall is making its way into the wardrobes of little dolls, too. They need outfits that feel a bit more like fall: no short dresses, but rather ponchos in various styles, for example. These can be quickly crocheted from just a few grams of yarn. You’ll definitely end up making more than one ;-)

Spicy
Autumn
is a lightweight scarf or stole that can also be worn as a poncho.
The scarf is knitted using just 200g of yarn with a yardage of 600m per 100g.
The pattern is written out row by row and is also illustrated with a chart.

This cute children’s sweater (fits sizes 86–98) is knitted from sock yarn. The color accents here come from leftover yarn in matching colors. The sweater is easy to knit and has no seams.

A comfortable merino wool cardigan (RVO) is just the thing for fall walks. The hood and pockets make the cardigan perfect, as they allow little treasures to be carried along on outings. The measurements in the pattern fit sizes 92–104, so it will grow with the child for a while. A very nice project for experienced knitters.

This large, colorful window decoration is perfect for fall and creates a cheerful atmosphere in the kids’ room.

The picture featuring the cute hedgehog is made from photo cardstock and tracing paper and measures approximately 60 x 58 cm. It’s easy to make, but you should definitely have some experience using a craft knife.

Since orange is one of the fall colors, the Nikubori Hat is a great fit.

Nikubori is made with chain stitches, single crochets, slip stitches, half double crochets, and post double crochets.

Fall also calls for pretty, colorful decorations. These charming autumn children look great on your seasonal table! They are about 12 cm tall and have flexible limbs, so they can sit and stand. This lets you arrange them in different ways over and over again. You only need a few small amounts of leftover yarn to crochet them.
Just click on the blue text next to the corresponding picture to get more information and download the pattern.

Even though nature is slowly preparing for the cold season in the fall, we don’t have to do without flowers just yet, because many types of flowers are showing their most beautiful colors right now! With this pattern, you can make one of the most popular fall flowers as a tea light holder.

These tea light holders are made from photo cardstock and measure about 11 cm in diameter. They are very easy to make and are also wonderfully suitable for beginners.

Sunflowers spread cheer, put you in a good mood, and bring a smile to anyone who sees them. They also add a beautiful pop of color to your home.

The sunflowers, individually or as a whole bouquet, make lovely decorations and are also perfect as a gift.
For one sunflower, you only need about 8 g of yellow, 5 g of brown, and 18 g of green yarn, for example cotton yarn with 125 m/50 g - so you can even give your leftover yarn a new shine.

Difficulty level: easy to intermediate, suitable for ambitious beginners with a little practice

You can get the crochet pattern for the sunflower here

Here’s another fall decoration that you can easily make yourself. All you need is the ability to use a craft knife.

This tea light holder is made of photo cardstock, measures about 12.5 cm, is very easy to make, and comes together quickly.
