A shawl that isn’t difficult to crochet and is perfect for fall is the “Autumn Leaf” shawl. It’s crocheted like a star blanket at first. Then the individual points are worked out. There’s a crochet chart for the pattern, but the individual rows are also written out.
Choose a gradient yarn in colorful fall hues, or gather up some matching leftover yarn.
The crochet pattern for the “Autumn Leaf” shawl is available here!

Here you can choose whether you want to knit a scarf, a stole, or a cowl. The pretty lace pattern can even be extended if you'd like to knit it wider or even longer. For experienced knitters, this is a really lovely project that is guaranteed not to bore you. You'll love the beautiful result. I would recommend thin gradient yarn or hand-dyed yarn

What makes the Harlequin shawl special is its interesting construction, which naturally determines the shawl’s shape and color distribution. At the same time, this triangular shawl is very easy and relaxing to knit.
You’ll need at least 400m of yarn in each color to knit the shawl in the specified size.
Many people have also knitted it using gradient yarn cakes.

The “La Mer” shawl—perfect for fall, of course, but also great for any other season.
Like many of my projects, it’s ideal for using up leftover yarn—and therefore a great option for those on a budget.
The pattern is free—have fun browsing my shop!

My favorite scarf this fall is this one:

It’s actually a scarf, but as you can see, it can be worn beautifully looped around the neck like a shawl. It is wonderfully soft because it was knitted from cashmere yarn . My neck is very sensitive, and nothing scratchy will do for me—and this yarn is the only one that meets my high expectations. The special feature in the design is the two ends, because delicate rocaille beads are knitted into them.

My second tip, which is guaranteed to always be a great choice, is this fall companion made from the same wonderful cashmere yarn. You can probably tell already: this is my absolute favorite. This little piece treats me almost every day in the fall. It is easy to knit, and you can wear it practically every day. It is as light as a feather and reliably warms the neck and nape area, which is often tense for me. I hardly want to take it off anymore.

And No. 3 of my recommendations is even a free pattern. You can knit this lovely fall companion from just 200 g of yarn. It’s also suitable for beginner knitters. You can button it in different ways, so it always gets a different look.

I hope you have lots of fun making them.
Yours, Ina

The pattern for the “Drachenschuppe” triangle shawl is a great choice for fall. The pattern is easy to memorize, so you can work on your new shawl while relaxing in front of the TV. Plus, it has a nice dense texture, so you won’t feel the cold on chilly days. The pattern itself lets you choose whether you’d prefer a deep or a shallow triangle shawl.

The “Calor” pattern creates a great asymmetrical shawl. “Calor” is Latin for “warmth” — after all, what could be nicer than snuggling up in a warm shawl on cooler days? It’s also suitable for beginners!

The “Illusion” autumn stole is a beautiful and unique piece.
You can easily drape it over your shoulders to turn any outfit into a real eye-catcher.

The pattern repeats and is very easy to remember! You can choose the size of the shawl yourself. The shawl shown has a width of approx. 190 cm and a height of approx. 50 cm.

Tania scarf-shawl
a fantastic eye-catcher for the transitional fall season

-- to the pattern --

The Tania scarf-shawl combines the benefits of a scarf and a shawl in one accessory.

The pattern includes many informative photos and describes in detail how you can crochet this scarf-shawl yourself—even as an ambitious beginner with good basic skills. For advanced crocheters, there is also a crochet chart.

The shawl shown is 220 cm long and approx. 25 cm deep—it can easily be adjusted in length and width.
It was crocheted using a 4-ply gradient yarn cake, 150 g (50% cotton, 50% acrylic—yardage approx. 190 m/50 g).
