Cuddly animals are popular with children big and small. Here are a few animals from my shop that make cuddling especially fun:
 Herzibär,
the cuddly bear for everyone who loves each other very much. Herzibär’s eyes, ears, nose, and paws are decorated with little hearts, as is the red scarf he wears around his neck. Herzibär is about 25 cm tall and is especially soft and cuddly if you crochet him with teddy yarn. But of course you can also use any other yarn. In the pattern, it is explained in detail how to crochet with teddy yarn without any problems.

Cuddly Cat Mauzi
is also crocheted from soft yarn and is especially suitable for small babies. The head, tail, and paws are made from velvety-soft chenille yarn, the body from cotton yarn and teddy yarn. Crocheting with the teddy yarn is especially easy here, because the body is crocheted with double crochet stitches, so you can easily feel the individual stitches.

 Unicorn Violetta
is a very special animal, because she is a hobby horse on a super-soft stick, namely a pool noodle. That way, no one can get hurt even during wild riding, and Violetta can even be taken to bed for cuddling.

How about a cute little door-guard bear like this? He makes very sure that the door stays closed when he shows "Stop"—and all without a key.

He especially likes hanging on the children’s room door and doing his duty there. But the study, bathroom, or WC will also be watched attentively. It’s best to crochet several of them right away, maybe in different colors. Leftover yarn is absolutely enough for this.

Very easy to crochet, and the recipients will be thrilled with such a nice new housemate.

If you prefer owls, you can crochet this attentive owl and then hang it on the door. Of course, she is just as reliable and does her duty very faithfully—to the delight of the room’s residents.

Just as easy to crochet from leftover yarn.

And here comes another little animal that loves to help you—this time in the kitchen. He can’t wait to protect your hands from hot pots and baking trays.

The ladybug oven mitts are super easy to crochet, even for beginners with basic skills. They are a real eye-catcher in the kitchen and also make a great gift.

I'll show you how to make acuddly little bunny from pompoms. This would also be a great project to make together with children. First you need to make a few pompoms; the children could do that. The pattern explains how to do it. After that, the pompoms are strung together in a specific order. Then the little ears and nose are crocheted. At the end, we sew on the eyes (shank buttons) and whiskers (fishing line). Add a bow, and the cute little bunny is finished.

I hope you enjoy making it. Yours, Ina

Crochet pattern for Dino Pauli

Pauli is crocheted from two pieces, which are joined together at the end with a round of single crochet. No sewing together of individual pieces is required. Depending on the yarn length and hook size, Pauli can reach a size of 31 cm in height and approx. 40 cm in length.

Crochet pattern for a little bunny

Here, too, two pieces are crocheted, which are joined together at the end with a round of single crochet. Only the little tail is crocheted separately and sewn on at the end.

Elephant snuggle cloth

Crocheted with double crochet stitches, this little elephant is perfect for cuddling and snuggling. Yarn scraps can be used here very well.

Joey

here I have created a pattern that looks very much like my little monkey from childhood. My Joey back then was completely worn out and I had to part with him; now I have my favorite back, maybe he’ll become your favorite too :)

There are more than enough animals in the Schneckenkind Shop! And they’re all just begging to be hugged and cuddled ♥

Tom the Rabbit & Kai the Cat are just two of a wide selection of crocheted animals, each about 30 to 33 cm tall, all wearing pull-on pants or dresses ♥
They’re crocheted using cotton yarn (125 m/50 g) and a 2.5 mm hook.

There’s also the new Classic line. The animals have a cozy, round shape and a simple design, such as

Teddy Björn —made from Scheepjes Stone Washed with a 3.0 mm hook, he measures about 23 cm tall when seated.

Nico
the Rhinoceros—
a cuddly friend to dream with

-- to the pattern --

Little Nico, a tiny unicorn—er, rhino—loves to cuddle and is happy to join you on any dream journey.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and provides step-by-step instructions on how to crochet Nico. Since it involves more than just “normal” evenly rounded shapes, you should have some experience with amigurumi crocheting .

Nico was crocheted using just under 100g of cotton yarn, such as Gründl Cotton Fun (LL 115m/50g), and is approximately 21cm long.

Gina was crocheted from just under 40 g of cotton yarn, e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun (yardage 115 m/50 g), and is approx. 19 cm tall (incl. ears/horns).
