Dear users, dear authors,
Technically, all handmade models are 3D, but some are simply more dimensional than others / less flat and more spatial. In this thread, you’ll find, for example, models with relief patterns / post double crochet and textured highlights from all types of crafts. Have fun making them.

@Authors,
2–3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget links, images, information, etc.

This pretty tissue box cover has a wonderfully three-dimensional effect, especially thanks to the post double crochet stitches. It is very easy to crochet, and leftover yarn in your favorite colors is all you need.

This planter cover is also crocheted with post double crochet stitches. Its colors match the poinsettia perfectly, but of course it can also be crocheted in other colors. The pattern also includes stars that look pretty as appliqués and as ornaments on the Christmas tree.

These baby pants made from sock yarn are knitted in a special pattern that looks very three-dimensional. It consists solely of knit and purl stitches. The pants are easy for experienced knitters to make and fit ages 3 to at least 12 months.

Shawl "Elaine" - This sophisticated triangular shawl stands out with two differently patterned sides. No matter how you turn it, it looks great and is wonderfully soft and cozy. You should already have a bit of crochet experience and practice for this shawl.

Here’s my finished elf hat for my best friend’s birthday. She loves the classic pointed-hat look on her clothes—preferably with little bells. Orange, yellow, and red are her colors. I hope she likes it. What do you think?

@gabriele-gotter
the hat turned out great.
Would you maybe like to show it over in the thread for the August projects? This thread here is a promotional thread where the authors can present patterns. Your hat might get a bit lost here among the patterns, and it definitely doesn't deserve that.

Hello everyone,
My shop also has a few patterns where the designs stand out especially clearly.

1. Crochet pattern “Endless Blanket”

As you’ve correctly guessed, you can crochet the blanket as large as you like. What makes it special is the beautiful color gradient, which comes directly from a yarn cake, and the relief pattern.

2. Square basket with lattice pattern

It has a sturdy double sandwich base. You can crochet it in various sizes. There is also a round version of the basket in my shop.

3. Crochet pattern: Mosaic blanket made of squares

First we crochet lots of identical colored squares. Then we crochet them together. Finally, a wide border of post stitches is added all around. Here, too, the textured crochet pattern made from yarn cakes is the focus, along with the color design.

If you just can’t get enough of front and back post double crochet, then the pattern for my shawl "Wolkengruss" is just right for you. The pattern is very easy to memorize and is ideal crochet work for evenings in front of the TV.

Another highlight for post double crochet fans is the Drachenschuppe shawl. Here you can even choose whether you’d rather crochet a deep or a shallow triangular shawl—or maybe both versions? This pattern is also very easy to memorize and quickly sticks in your head.

Tania scarf-shawl
the scarf with a twist

-- to the pattern --

This scarf-shawl combines the advantages of a scarf and a shawl in one accessory.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and explains step by step how you can crochet this scarf-shawl yourself—even as an ambitious beginner with good basic knowledge. For advanced crocheters, there is also a crochet chart.

The shawl shown is 220 cm long and approx. 25 cm deep. It was crocheted with a 4-strand yarn cake, 150 g (50% cotton, 50% acrylic - approx. 190 m/50 g).
