If you happen to have one skein each of two coordinating cotton colors in your stash, you can get started right away on the “Flamingo Love” potholders. They’re knitted using the double knitting technique and look great from both sides in your kitchen.

Little by little, you can start thinking about fall decorations. Maybe you’ll get started on them this weekend?

Scarecrow Victor
feels just as at home on your balcony as on the windowsill. Victor is 35 cm tall (without the stick) and can be crocheted from lots of colorful leftover yarn. You’re sure to have some at home.

I used:
Catania cotton (125 m / 50 g), namely:
  • 10 g orange (jaffa 0189)
  • 10 g green (moss 0412)
  • 10 g brown (maroon 0157)
  • 20 g red (signal red 0115)
  • leftover yellow (gold 0249)also:
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 1 yarn needle
  • 1 round dowel, diameter 7–10 mm, l = 50 cm
  • 4 craft sticks 150 x 20 mm
  • 50 g natural raffia, golden yellow
  • a little craft stuffing
  • a small leftover piece of black felt
  • sewing thread
  • craft glue or wood glue
  • 1 black half pearl; diameter approx. 7 mm
  • possibly hot glue gun and hot glue

 Squirrel Kiki
will soon start building up a winter stash of nuts and acorns.

Kiki is about 14 cm tall and was made from the following materials:
  • cotton, 125 m / 50 g (e.g. Schachenmayr Catania) in reddish brown (marsala)
  • leftover cotton in black, dark brown, light brown
  • fringe yarn, approx. 85 m / 50 g in reddish brown (e.g. Peppina by Lana Grossa)
  • crochet hook size 2.5
  • safety eyes or sew-on eyes (diameter approx. 0.8 cm)
  • strong black thread
  • 1 thick yarn needle for sewing together
  • 1 sharp needle for embroidering the nose and claws
  • polyester stuffing
  • possibly 1 Kinder Surprise egg capsule, sand

Hedgehog Ingo
is Kiki’s best friend. He is crocheted from cuddly soft chenille yarn, and even his spines are soft and don’t prick at all!

To crochet him as shown in the picture, you’ll need:
  • approx. 20 g Bohème Velvet by GoHandmade (190 m / 50 g; color Vintage Curry)
  • approx. 25 g Brazilia by Schachenmayr (90 m / 50 g; color Camouflage 00123)
  • leftover black cotton yarn for embroidering the snout and claws
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook
  • stuffing
  • 2 black half pearls, diameter 10 mm
  • hot glue or craft glue

Well, was there something for you? Then click on the blue text and you’ll go to the crochet pattern download!

An autumn walk with the Puky, balance bike, or tricycle is the best thing ever for the little ones. But you’ll definitely need a bag attached to it so they can carry all the treasures they find along the way.

This bag fits perfectly on their favorite ride. It makes a great gift—maybe even for Christmas. You’ll need good crochet experience for this project. All the steps are clearly explained with pictures.

If the dolls or stuffed animals are already tucked into a sleeping bag, the little ones will surely be much happier to go to bed with them. A sleeping bag like this is quick and easy to knit and is sure to bring joy.

This one fits dolls or teddy bears up to 50 cm tall, making it perfect for Baby Born.

And there’s also a sleeping bag for mini dolls or stuffed animals. Here, two different versions are described in detail. Maybe you have some suitable leftover yarn on hand? Then this is the perfect project for it.
