Bookmarks are wonderful to crochet from leftover yarn, even when you’re on the go. You don’t need to carry much yarn with you, and the finished piece fits in any handbag.

Depending on the bookworm’s preferences, you can make matching bookmarks. Make several at once, so you’ll always have some in stock at home—because you’ll see, they’re very popular!

The Frog Prince
for everyone who loves fairy tales!

Fiery Dragon for fans of knight stories, legends, and fantasy novels.

Funny Clown —for everyone who wants to read something that makes them laugh.

Marika Headband

Headbands are a wonderful choice for using up leftover yarn. They’re also great for crafting on the go. They’re ideal for vacations too, since the materials take up little space and don’t weigh much. They also have the advantage that you can make them up quickly, leaving time for other things while you’re on vacation. Wishing everyone a lovely holiday season, whether at home or on the go.

The lovely, rounded hearts are super easy and quick to crochet from leftover sponge yarn, even for beginners. They are very practical as mini sponges for facial care, but also simply as decorations or gift tags.

Perfect as a gift—or for yourself.

If you still have leftover sponge yarn in fall colors, you could crochet these leaves from it and use them either as small wash pads or for your fall decor. They’ll instantly create a fall atmosphere in your home and also make great little gifts or small presents:

Difficulty level: easy. Since only basic crochet stitches are used, the leaves are a great project even for ambitious beginners.
