This cute little monkey is a cover for a grain cushion. Grain cushions can be heated in the microwave but can also be used for cold therapy. When heated, they help relieve tension, sore muscles, and various types of pain, such as stomachaches and neck pain.
The little monkey is especially recommended for children, who can simply “cuddle the pain away” with the monkey when they have a stomachache.
The little monkey isn’t hard to crochet. For the head and limbs, I used plush yarn so it’s nice and soft. But you can also use any other standard yarn. For the body, I recommend heat-resistant cotton yarn.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- approx. 100 g red cotton yarn (125 m / 50 g, e.g., Catania)
