A market bag for everyone who would like to learn Tunisian crochet!
It is crocheted in the Tunisian simple stitch, which is explained in detail in the pattern and is very easy for beginners to learn, especially if you have already done a little knitting. All you need in addition is a Tunisian crochet hook, which you can get at craft stores.

You’ll pick up this technique quickly, and then there’s nothing else you need to watch out for: the play of colors comes from the skein all by itself, and since you only crochet a rectangle, there are no increases or decreases.  At the end, the bag is folded origami-style and sewn together. The handle and decorative border are then crocheted again with a regular crochet hook.

This large bread basket is sure to bring a cheerful atmosphere to the breakfast table! It has room for enough rolls and pastries for the whole family. The bottom of the basket is crocheted in rounds, and the pattern is knitted in double knitting.

The bag is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 25.5 x 26 x 9 cm. It’s very easy to make—you just need a little patience when cutting out the flowers.
