Percy, the proud peacock, stands out especially because of his magnificent tail, which consists entirely of colorful peacock eyes (= circles). I crocheted the last round of these circles using fringe yarn. This gives the tail a lovely feathery look. If you don’t like working with fringed yarn, you can also crochet these rounds with cotton yarn, just like the rest of the body.

The weekend is supposed to get colder again. Make yourselves cozy at home! With a good cup of "Tea for 2". To go with it, you can crochet the "Tea for 2" placemat. Thanks to the filet crochet technique (= only chain stitches and double crochet), it works up quite quickly, and soon you’ll be able to enjoy your tea for two at a beautifully set table.

For 1 set you need:55 g cotton yarn (yardage approx. 165 m/ 50g, e.g. Catania fine by Schachenmayr) in vanilla
Leftover olive green cotton yarn of similar weightCrochet hook size 2.0 mm

Maybe you’d also like to crochet the funny octopus Oskar? I used leftovers from a yarn cake for this, but cotton yarn with a yardage of 150 m/50 g or thinner works just as well.
Oskar fits perfectly into nautical-themed decor.

How about

a pair of felt moccasins?
You can make them in all sizes and colors. They’ll keep your feet warm, and you won’t want to take them off. The washing machine does the felting for you.

Or you could crochet a beautiful doll dress.
It’s fun for you and makes the doll’s mom happy. You have several design options to choose from: with or without beads, all in white as a wedding dress, etc.

Or maybe a quick loop scarf, which is easy to knit? It’s perfect for this time of year—you can’t go wrong with it.

I hope you have lots of fun with your crafts and enjoy a lovely, relaxing weekend.

Warm regards from Ina

A colorful summer skirt for little girls—that’s a wonderful weekend project. This one fits ages 3–5 and is also great and easy to put on and take off.

Kids with a play kitchen will definitely be delighted if they can prepare a great meal for their dolls. With this pattern, you can crochet toast, fried eggs, pasta, vegetables, and butter, and then watch them play. All the pieces can be easily crocheted from leftover yarn.

A sleeping bag is always useful for babies. This one is knitted from merino wool and is easy to make. It fits from 3 to at least 12 months.

There’s already a cool breeze blowing today… but in summer it’s very welcome because it’s refreshing…

These pretty little rose-shaped egg cups are a delight to look at all year round. At Easter, they really show off the colorful eggs to their best advantage.

The egg cups are made from photo cardstock and are very easy to recreate, even for beginners.

The sleeping owl isn’t just a beautiful, decorative eye-catcher—it’s also a useful sponge for bathing and showering.

Difficulty level: easy, suitable for ambitious beginners with some practice
Techniques used: starting a crochet project with a magic ring, crocheting in the round, single crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, and closing a seam with slip stitches

Crocheting these grannies is really a lot of fun… To make a blanket, you simply repeat a pattern… And then crochet the grannies together, and what you end up with looks really great

Weighing in at just 125g, the Swea scarf is an absolute lightweight, and with 2 different patterns that repeat irregularly, it’s quick to knit.

This gift bag is also a great weekend project: It’s perfect for your spring gifts and is very easy for beginners to make.

The bag is made of cardstock and, measuring approximately 21 x 26 x 8 cm, can hold several small gifts at once. The pattern describes all the steps in detail.
