Today I’d like to recommend 3 animal patterns to you that were new additions to my shop in 2020:

First there is
Poldi the Mole, Animal of the Year 2020.
.
You absolutely have to have him! He will be about 12–13 cm tall if you crochet him from thin chenille yarn (e.g., Katia Velvet Fine or Go Handmade Bohème Velvet—photo on the left) or from cotton yarn (e.g., Catania Fine—photo on the right). With chenille yarn, of course, he becomes wonderfully cuddly and soft, and if you use thicker chenille yarn, he will also turn out quite a bit larger. In any case, the Animal of the Year 2020 definitely belongs in your stuffed animal collection, especially when it’s as cute as Poldi. So click on the blue text right away and download the pattern!
Percy the Peacock is a vain and majestic animal. But he also has every reason to be proud, because with his magnificent blue-green plumage he truly looks royal! Percy is about 30 cm long and 20 cm tall overall and makes a wonderful, impressive decoration.

The little
Cuddly Heat Bear is the world champion of snuggling. The teddy is a cover for a grain pillow that you can warm up in the microwave in just a few minutes. This way, he helps with tummy aches and back pain and can even warm up the bed in advance. He can also be filled with a small “regular” pillow and then used as a stuffed animal or cuddly pillow.
I crocheted the head and limbs with teddy yarn (together with a white cotton yarn as a carry-along thread). This makes the teddy nicely plush and soft. The pattern explains in detail how to crochet with this yarn without any major problems. For the body of the little bear, I used heat-resistant cotton yarn.
