For this model, you only need to know knit and purl stitches. You should also be able to knit stitches together. It is knitted with a set of double-pointed needles, but with a little practice that is very easy too.

These cute little elves are very easy to crochet. They’re not just fun for kids—for example, at a children’s birthday party or as an Advent calendar. We adults still have a child inside us who would be thrilled with such original gift wrapping, for example.

What would I recommend to my best friend if she came to me and said, "Ina, I feel like doing some crafting, but it shouldn't be anything complicated. Do you have a tip for me?" Then I would give her these 3 suggestions. Everything is easy to crochet or knit. Any beginner can manage it, and you'll quickly get a lovely result to enjoy.

Now I hope you enjoy my tips and the patterns. For more information, sample pictures, and the pattern, just click on the headings.

Warm regards from Ina

Loop Federleicht
-> wonderfully cuddly-soft and delicate, and very easy to knit. You can practice knitting knit stitches to your heart's content ;-) You could also make it as a gift for your very, very best friend—she'll love it. This color in the top picture (= beige) doesn't look that great on the skein, but in real life it simply goes with lots of other colors.

Candy Pillow
-> for crochet fans. A lovely pillow in any size for a child's room is always a good fit. Just two colors, and in no time at all you'll crochet round after round, and the pillow is finished. It is filled with washable batting, so later it can be completely washed in the washing machine if needed.

Or a beautiful knitted blanket
-> the pattern is very easy to follow, and soon you'll have a timelessly beautiful blanket—for yourself, your children, grandchildren, or to have on hand as a gift for the next big occasion. The blanket is knitted from pure, high-quality merino wool, which means it is warm and breathable, and can even be washed in the washing machine. My grandson drags his (he has several) everywhere with him. So he's well equipped for all kinds of weather.

All crochet patterns in my shop are suitable for beginners. The newest addition to the animal club is:

Rolli, the funny party pig, as a lid cover for candy jars—an original way to present cash gifts, vouchers, and party invitations.
The lid cover fits screw-top jars with a lid diameter of 8.5 cm but can be adjusted as needed.
Rolli himself is 14 cm tall when made with the specified yarn. You can also crochet him without the cover, as a carnival decoration or a bag charm.

The crochet pattern is described in detail over 25 pages and includes many detailed photos starting on page 11.

If you’d like to surprise your loved ones with an Easter card but aren’t sure about your crafting skills, then you can give this card a try.

The card is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 10.5 x 14.8 cm when folded. It is very easy to make and also very suitable for crafting beginners.
