Whether it’s a stole, a scarf, or a loop—you can decide that for yourself when wearing it and while knitting. The width and length can be adjusted to suit your own needs.

Here, the piece was knitted using hand-dyed, thin gradient yarn with a pretty lace pattern. The effect will be different with every type of yarn.

Just get started and be amazed.

This triangular shawl also doubles as a poncho. It can be worn in various ways and is a real eye-catcher with its pretty lace pattern and pink waves. If you love blue waves, for example, you can simply swap out the colors.

A lovely challenge for advanced knitters.

The “Festival of Leaves” shawl features a stunning leaf pattern ♥

The detailed crochet pattern includes an image description, a written description, and, of course, a crochet chart.

Knitting pattern for a large shawl.

I knitted my shawl using a soft, lightweight yarn containing 50% alpaca (e.g. Schachenmayr “Highland Alpaca Fino”, 50% alpaca, 50% virgin wool, with a yardage of 250 m / 50 g). I used 200 g with a yardage of 250 m/50 g, and in the end my shawl measured 43 x 165 cm. The pattern is 5 pages long, described row by row, and there is also a knitting chart I created in Excel. You should be familiar with knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, and knitting stitches together.

My “Spring Glow” triangular shawl is knitted with 200g of yarn with a yardage of 420m per 100g. It features various simple patterns, all of which are explained in detail and illustrated with charts. This keeps the knitting process interesting.

Are you already waiting for the first warmer days too?
For the transition season, I like having a warming shawl.

Lucille is an easy-to-crochet keyhole scarf that nestles nicely around your shoulders.
An uncomplicated everyday companion that stays where it’s supposed to stay.

Lucille can be combined in many ways, is decorative, and pleasantly warm — whether with a simple shirt or a dress.

Here in the crochet pattern you’ll find information about the stitches used and the material:

For fans of romantic triangular shawls: Ice Princess

The PDF pattern is suitable for experienced crocheters.

For crocheters who like a simple style: Minto, whose pattern shows off color gradients beautifully.

Ajour, a knitted triangular shawl that can also be used as a scarf, has a playful, feminine look.

Relaxing knitting despite a 2-color pattern? Yes, it’s possible!
Slip-stitch patterns are simple but effective! The FJORD DIVER triangular shawl is very varied to knit thanks to its different patterned stripes. You can also have wonderful fun playing with the colors: whether—as shown here—with strong contrast or rather with “quiet” tones—you can decide entirely according to your own taste.

You can get the knitting pattern here: FJORD DIVER triangular shawl

Wishing you lots of fun knitting,
Annette

A stole to snuggle into—who wouldn’t want that? The AUTUMN BLISS stole is a year-round companion, perfect to throw on during mild summer evenings and to wear as a voluminous scarf in winter. The "Feather and Fan" lace pattern—a classic among lace patterns—creates gentle waves and gives the stole a light, airy feel. The shape of the stole is reminiscent of wings and wraps beautifully around the shoulders. A fluffy yarn, here made of mohair and silk, size 4 knitting needles, and basic knitting skills—that’s all you need!

Here’s the knitting pattern: AUTUMN BLISS stole

As always, wishing you lots of joy with your knitting,
Annette

A tried-and-true triangular shawl—even for beginners—is the SOLVEIG shawl.
Relaxing and switching off while knitting—that’s exactly what we want! Simple yet effective patterned stripes add variety while knitting, but you can still chat comfortably or watch a little movie on the side. A shawl for every season and so many occasions!

You can find the knitting pattern here: SOLVEIG triangular shawl

Wishing you relaxed knitting,
Annette

Crocheted triangle shawl

The shawl is started at the tip, so you can decide the size yourself.

The pattern repeat goes over two rows, and you should have practice with chain stitches, slip stitches, double crochets, and single crochets.

This shawl was crocheted from a summer yarn (Tahiti by Schachenmayr) with a length of 280 m. It used 150 grams.

Click here and I’ll show you some other yarns I’ve used—

Beautiful, unique, and an absolute eye-catcher for many occasions—these three stoles are all that.
They offer many different ways to wear them. Whether as a stole, as a poncho, or as a pareo at the beach, they’re just right for many occasions.
