Decorative lanterns
can be crocheted from different types of yarn and jars in various sizes. This gives unused yarn, leftover yarn, and jars you already have a useful purpose while also creating a unique decorative object.

They are great to use as a little gift to bring to a barbecue party or as indoor and outdoor decoration .

If you also want to pour the candles yourself and thus give old wax remnants a useful purpose , you can get the combined craft and crochet pattern here.

And if you still have leftover yarn after that, you can crochet functional key lanyards with it. They are quick to make and therefore a great last-minute gift for various occasions.

All patterns are suitable for ambitious beginners, and I’m also happy to answer any questions.
Have fun crocheting!

Toddlers are absolutely thrilled with a bag like this. It fits perfectly on their Puky, tricycle, or balance bike. There are so many ideas for what can go inside.

A lovely project for experienced crocheters.

The Leftover Eaters Gang is fun and very functional. It will save any children's birthday party, because little gifts can be hidden inside. And afterward, the Leftover Eaters can stand on a desk or shelf and guard pens or other little treasures.

Super easy to crochet and a great opportunity to use up all kinds of leftovers. Even buttons can still be put to good use here.

A pillow with two different patterns—here you can switch up your décor however the mood strikes. Easy to knit and cuddly soft.

This shoulder bag for toddlers can be used as a kindergarten bag or simply be a favorite companion on walks. The strap can be adjusted to different sizes and, of course, crocheted to any length you like.

Ladybugs in the kitchen that are also happy to be on hand when it's time to protect your hands from hot pots—that brings joy and good cheer. The two are very easy to crochet and make a wonderful gift, too. A decorative highlight in any kitchen!

Toddlers are especially delighted when they can serve their dolls the same food they like themselves. The noodles, the toast with butter, the fried egg, and the vegetables are all very easy to crochet. And it finally puts a few scraps of leftover yarn to good use.

The little ones need a shopping bag for their pretend store, too. And if it can also be filled with carrots and lemons, the joy is huge. Everything is easy to crochet, even for beginners with basic skills.

This decoration already creates a spring mood. When the breakfast table is set with pretty placemats with a floral border, matching coasters, floral decorations and funny egg cozies, the day gets off to a really good start.

Everything is very easy to crochet, even for beginners with basic skills. Leftover yarn can also be put to pretty use here.

This small pouch for 10 tissues is a very pretty and useful gift and fits in any handbag. A great project for leftover yarn. The pattern includes several variations. Easy and quick to crochet.

These two door guards are especially popular with children. They can finally signal without a key that the door should stay closed. The door guards are available as a little bear or an owl and can of course hang on any door, including the bathroom or toilet door.

They are available individually or as a saver set. Both are very easy to crochet and are also suitable for beginners with basic skills.

This belt pouch holds the most important things. Very useful when you want to keep your hands free, and decorative too.

Recommended for experienced crocheters.

The ugly tissue boxes can be hidden very decoratively in this pretty cover. A great gift for many occasions, including for a nursery when a baby is born. This box even looks great on the dining table. That way, tissues are always close at hand anywhere.

Are you looking for pretty table decorations for Valentine’s Day?

These hearts
can be crocheted quickly from a few bits of leftover yarn:

They work well as coasters and cutlery pockets and instantly give your table decoration a romantic touch.

Maybe you’ll also combine them with two “Tea for 2” placemats if you’ve invited someone over for a cozy teatime for two:

The placemats are quick to finish thanks to the filet crochet technique (only chain stitches and double crochet are used). For one set you’ll need about 55 g cotton yarn (yardage approx. 165 m/50 g, e.g. Catania fine by Schachenmayr) in vanilla and a leftover bit of olive-green cotton yarn of similar weight. Of course, you can also crochet the sets in other colors.

The bathroom needs a little decoration too! Of course, it should also be useful. Here are a few suggestions:

The Bunny Wolli is a cute cotton ball dispenser:
A zipper at the neck makes it very easy to fill him with cotton balls, one of which then peeks out at the back and can be taken from there.

For tissues, you can crochet this beautiful cover for tissue boxes

. Its wave pattern and crocheted shells and crabs give it its maritime character. You can crochet the cover in any size you like.

The crocheted shells:

go wonderfully with the tissue box. They are not at all difficult to crochet, and since almost any yarn is suitable for them, they are ideal for using up small amounts of leftover yarn. With the pattern, you can crochet 3 different shell models.

Not many people would immediately suspect that there’s a toilet paper roll hidden inside this cheeseburger...

Whether you display the burger in classic retro style on your car’s rear shelf or more practically in the bathroom—it’s definitely an eye-catcher.
Since it stands firmly even without the toilet paper roll, it’s also great for hiding small items or as gift wrapping.

This little basket, crocheted from felting yarn and then felted in the washing machine, is incredibly versatile.

For example, it’s the perfect size to hold a craft project—or to use as a pretty planter.

Do you have a dog or know a dog lover? Then you might feel like knitting this fun dishcloth:

It is knitted with leftover cotton yarn using the double-face knitting technique. You can find the pattern here.

There is something suitable for cat lovers, too:

This makes cleaning the cat bowl a little more fun ;-) This dishcloth is also knitted in double-face. You can find the pattern here.

For all bookworms and avid readers, there is also something useful in my shop: a crocheted protective sleeve for your e-reader or a small tablet:

Here you can find the detailed pattern with plenty of pictures.

Have fun with your next project!

With this pattern, you can crochet lots of different flowers and use them in many ways as decoration, as scattered flowers, and as appliqués.

Since you only need very little yarn per flower, you can also use your leftover yarn for them and combine colors in new ways again and again.

You can find the pattern for the crochet flowers here

This tea light holder is small, decorative, serves its purpose wonderfully, and is therefore an excellent decoration for Valentine’s Day.

The holder is made of cardstock and measures approximately 11 x 11.5 cm. It’s very easy to make and suitable even for beginners, though you should already be comfortable using a craft knife.
