Especially around Christmas, people often feel like getting crafty and making at least some of their Christmas decorations themselves. How about a tea light holder? With this one, you won’t have any trouble—even if crafting hasn’t been your strong suit so far.

The tea light holder is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 15.5 x 4 cm. It’s very quick and easy to make and is perfect for beginners.

This cowl is knitted with thick yarn, so you’ll make quick progress.

You’ll achieve the cable look by knitting knit and purl stitches. It’s knitted on circular needles, and you can easily wrap it around your neck twice.

These cute star gnomes are very easy and quick to crochet.

Hang them as decorations on the Christmas tree or on a few pine branches, string them together to make a garland, or hang them on a string of lights. You can also use them individually as gift tags, flower picks, or even as pincushions.

You only need a tiny bit of yarn to crochet these, so this is a great way to use up your small, colorful scraps.

The idea for “easy and quick” came from a request here in this thread. You can easily knit this lucky gnome during a TV night—it took me about 3.5 hours in total to finish it.

The snowflake templates are designed for silk or similarly thin paper. The finished snowflakes are about 20 cm in size and are cut from folded paper squares as usual. For craft beginners, there are detailed instructions and a folding guide.

A simple cowl is quick to crochet. For this model, one skein of Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 285 Lace yarn (285 m / 50 grams) is enough.

The pattern is worked over just one row, which is repeated continuously. You should know single crochet, double crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches.

The snowflakes in three designs can be crocheted super quickly and easily from a few grams of glittery scrubby yarn (or other white yarn). Even by beginners who can crochet a magic ring, chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, and double crochet.

You can use the snowflakes in many different ways: as Christmas tree ornaments, as gift tags, for the Advent wreath, as a garland for walls or windows, as a seasonal keychain...
