Hi everyone,
I’m currently tidying up and sorting through my things. Today, I’m focusing on the collection of craft magazines that have accumulated over the years and decades. I received them from my mother-in-law, found them at flea markets, or bought them myself in stores.
Since I don’t have any friends or acquaintances who are passionate about this hobby, I can’t pass them on. Now I’m wondering what to do with them. I’d like to give them to someone who’ll put them to good use. They definitely won’t be going in the recycling bin. Do you have any suggestions for me?
And how big is your collection, actually? Or do you not collect at all? I’ve just sorted the ones I’m getting rid of into piles (knitting magazines, crochet magazines, children’s patterns, crafts, old magazines, socks)—there’s quite a bit there. Of course, I’m keeping my favorite magazines, but these ones are looking for a new home:
The oldest magazine is from 1976 (Verlag für die Frau, “Von 0 bis 6”). While flipping through the older issues, I realized that a lot of the content is still relevant—or has become relevant again.
I look forward to your comments.
Best regards—Ina
